  1. I know it sounds harsh but i agree with Ekona, if the deposit was fully refundable in these circumstances then there is no point in it in the first place. It's purpose is to safeguard the seller and give the purchaser security on the purchase I would discuss the matter with the garage and state you are willing to pay for the work done and reimburse time and effort on their part and hope they accept the offer and as a goodwill jesture of goodwill give you some of it back.
  2. Sorry to hear you are having a nightmare. Its horrible when this kind of thing happens. I agree 100% with ekona. Even if you dont have written confirmation get everything you can down on paper. I'd be tempted to contact nissan directly aswell to see if there is anything they can do. Given they made the problem worse and caused additional damage i can't see how they can walk away from this one. On the flip side if the car has been back to the garage since the initial unrequested work was carried out then it may be deemed that you accepted the work because you continued to take the car back there and not stop the process then and there. Either way i'd be pressuring them to at least fix the additional damage they created
  3. Love the stone henge pics in your portfolio. Nice work. Can see some serious serious talent for next years calendar here
  4. I think you should keep you nocturnal peeping tom antics quiet mate
  5. I'll head down for the night soon and pick up some tips. Did some basic light painting in the milky way shoot we did, was really interesting to see how it came out. Be good to see how a pro does it though
  6. Did YOU write that post Will haha lets just say do as i say dont do as i do - fell in love with my 350 roadster and didnt check the roof for leaks......doh, still absolutely loved the car while i had it
  7. they look great, good to see them at japfest
  8. Hope you do find a gem, good to see they are selling, guess people are looking ahead to a good summer and having fun in the zed.
  9. Sounds like you have the zed bug too, nice work and post up somepics when you are done
  10. Goodluck in hunting for a zed. Good to look at the zeds for sale on the forum such as ruddles as they will more than likely be well cared for and pampered. If looking elsewhere i'd advise not jumping for the first one you see but look for a gem as they are out there and its a buyers market.Trouble is when you jump in one and start the engine you will immediately fall in love with the exhaust note but keep a sensible head and make sure its the right one before throwing your cash at the seller Feel free to post up any cars you are interested in and the guys will post feedback. Then when you get it post up somepics and come along to one of the local meets.
  11. Yup I was totally the same, 3 years later I'm still smiling like an idiot
  12. Lol you definitely have zeditus and you don't even have the zed yet
  13. I did at the last meet, all i can say is awesome, cant wait to see it on the track
  14. Little update, picked her up friday and shes as good as new, they matched the black rosie perfectly (had to get the paint in from nissan) and its a smashing job, no sign of the scratch. I'll admit it was not cheap but in line with what i expected and you get what you pay for. More importantly i totally trust tom and will with the car and will be using them again for any jobs i need doing. They really go the extra mile.
  15. Just popped out to test, took me a while to find this oldy worldy radio station but got there in the end. Seemed to pick up and display the correct programme info no problem didnt seem to show the track though. I'll try to take more notice next time. Not that big an issue for me though must admit, listen to the exhaust more often now
  16. Lol, know how you feel, knaps in the afternoon have started jumping up on me recently. Fractured my foot a few years back, mum (a nurse) said "at your age you know that isnt going to heal fully and it's likely you will get arthritus there because of it". .......ummmmm cheers for that mum, any other good news?
