  1. Could have dented the paintwork that one
  2. TC was definitely on, didn't have the confidence to turn it off without first trying it out in a safe environment. It did kill the car out of most of the corners unfortunately, as you can hear when i go around the top tight left hander
  3. Certainly were a lot of nice cars there again this year. Would happily swap for the f430 spider....drool. The owner came up to me and said "your exhausts are huge ", "yes" i replied, "they are rather but they do make a nice noise", "yes, i love them, i have 4 just like it on my ferrari"........bet they sound a little nicer on his lol.
  4. Definitely a good idea, owning the car is only half the fun, its the friend you make and the social side thats the main factor. Where abouts are you based, im sure there will be some meets local to you. If not you have zed and can travel
  5. Well what a fun day that was. Prepared the car last night, washed, waxed and oiled all ready to go, then woke up and it had rained.......first time in 3 weeks...typical. Quick dry and all is well and we were off. Once a year they open up the circuit to members so my zed gets a chance to stretch her legs. There were some cracking cars there including a lovely Mclaren. Thing i loved most though was that he drove it like he stole it, it was there to be used and it sounded fantastic. But there was another car Rosie and I found ourselves coming back to time and again. A gorgeous Ferrari 599, slightly modified with twin super chargers and as a result it was sitting at 980bhp. It sounded amazing but they guy tiptoed around the track - don't blame him. We had 4 runs up the hill and it was a lot fun. My friend took some videos and watching them back i definitely won't be changing that stillen exhaust Anyway enough of my waffle here are some cars, including the odd one or two of Rosie Must say these look lovely in the flesh, maybe a big brother for Rosie one day Loved these 2 One day i will have one of these Heres one for SMD And this was the beast - 980bhp, twin supercharged They got on well Rosie looked at home and my little nephew is now seriously into cars - spent all afternoon going "vrooom vroom" Had loads of people asking what colour the car was and they loved it which was nice. Ferrari off the line Me off the line Fun on the bends - she doesnt sound half bad And for those that say the Mclaren doesn't sound impressive i disagree
  6. Lol didnt mean it like that They are a cracking little car, it used to destory my zed on the activity days we did, just have to be careful with it as im sure you will be. In his case i think he was a little heavy footed which didnt work out so well.
  7. Very nice col, you will have to take me for a spin. My friend had one with a sports exhaust when i had my old 350z and we had alotof fun together. Dam thing was like alittle go kart so much fun. He span a few timesin it though then wrote itoff in scotland . Enjoy
  8. You should have taken Rosie for a spin when we were in Wales
  9. Good luck with it, looking forward to seeing how this one progreses
  10. Unless its raining my roof will be down, no point having a roadster if you arnt going to enjoy it
  11. Good job.....but ........its......ummmm....its not blue.......or silver.........are you feeling ok today? No bumps on the head?
  12. roadster prices vary depending on the season. Prices high over the summer and low during winter. You may have more chance in the winter but i doubt it, garage will only want to swap if they benefit and can make money from the transaction
  13. Its the geezer with the tasty sausages, enjoy
  14. So we wont see it next year in wales then? Good luck with the sale, just about finding the right person. Fingers crossed
  15. Usually wait till it gets cooler out of direct sunlight. But if i have to in the sun then its do a couple of panels at a time then dry down to stop the water marks which are a real pain in the ...
  16. Good choice sir Good luck with it! The adventure starts again
  17. Nooooooo, bad luck mate. I had a similar thing with the hfcs on rosie, you build your hopes up high then there is the complication and you come crashing back down. Hope you manage to sort it and it will be worth itin the end
  18. Great post and what a weekend to test out the car - i bet you loved every minute. Definitely agree about the exhaust - the stock exhaust is a huge let down, the 350z stock exhaust sounds lovely but all you hear on the 370 is the mechanical whine of the engine. Get a decent exhaust and it will make a world of difference. Welcome to the club and look forward to seeing what you do with the car. You should come along to one of the local meets and say hi
