  2. Read about this earlier, melted the dash in a transit parked nearby, kinda scary on the other hand, its a perfect location for those solar panels if they are up to it
  3. It was this guys lucky day, or unlucky depending on your take. http://www.sott.net/article/265760-Miraculous-escape-for-motorist-in-Taiwan-as-giant-boulder-narrowly-misses-car

  6. Nice work. Going to be a pleasure following you again ian, that is of course so long as you can keep up a decent pace
  7. The aldershot dealer said the handling of the nismo was far superior to the standard car so i would be intested to hear your conclusions
  8. Nice one, now I get your comments a out the nismo That road trip next year should be even more fun now
  9. Was heading south to Dorset for the week this afternoon and spotted 4 zeds heading in the other direction on the M3 Orange zed first then a sunset 350z, shortly followed by a gunmetal and finally a black or black rose 370z
  10. Haha nice one will, bet that put a big smile on your face
  11. Enjoy, i remember taking my one for a test drive 3 years ago, salesman said "as soon as i turn this key you will fall in love" he was bang on the money, bought it and never looked back. Enjoy the new car and get along to one of the local meets, owning the car is only half the fun.
  12. Popped into the aldershot nissan branch today to see if they had the 370z nismo in. Unfortunately it had been sold but i did have a good chat with a chap who had just purchased one of their brand new GTRs, not jealous at all honest. Cracking price too, must go talk to the bank manager next week lol. But what got my interest was they had the new shape 370z roadster there. To be honest the day time running lights looked a little bling for me and its missing someof the aggressive look without the fangs but the one thing i did really like was the stubby aerial, its half the size of my current one. Now i know that a lot of owners have tried different stubbies in the USA and they havent worked, messing up reception of the radio and sat nav but lookslike they provide one standard on the new cars now. I know normally size is everything but for once i'd rather lose those 6 extra inches and get a little stubby one and not have rosie look like alife size radio controlled car. Would any of the traders on here have these in stock andif so how much?
  13. Great pics and looks like you had some fantastic weather. Car looked great too, good to see it getting attention in Monaco
  14. Looking forward to seeing the new look ian, cant wait, should be awesome and nice to see those things you have been carrying around in boxes finally in their proper place
  15. Welcome along, not seen a white roadster before, looks lovely from that small pic
  16. I can't believe you guys are having such bad luck with the roof of your cars, 4 in such a short time is crazy. Luckily mine has been faultless and as shown in the pictures i posted up ages ago my roof lining is well clear of the windows. I would be concerned for you too since a replacement roof does not seem to be the problem as new ones will wear in the same way. Looks like there is a fundamental problem with the way the roof mechanics have been setup on the car and if they dont fix that the problem will inevitably re-occur but this time it will be out of warranty and not covered by the extended warranty. If you lived close by i'd be more than happy to bring mine along for a comparison at the garage so they can see what the exact problem is with yours and how it should be on a working car
  17. Looking forward to heading back to my parents and picking up the last 2 discs. On the way to rockingham the poor car got completely confused being on a dual carriageway it didnt know existed, sent me all around rhe houses.
  18. Have a fantastic holiday matey, take lots of pics
  19. Glad the stormsure worked for you. Regarding extended warranties i really wouldn't bother. From my discussions with the dealers on both Z roadsters i bought the rooves (mechanics) weren't covered by the standard UK warranty anyway. With my 370 I got them to verbally confirm that they would cover the whole roof otherwise i wouldn't buy the car as i had issues with the 350 roof. I used the basis of the Canadian nissan warranty which says the complete roof is covered therefore mechanics and material and they were happy to go with that. For the extended warranty there are too many get out of jail cards for them and i bet in most circumstances you wouldn't be covered, unless you get them to stipulate it would in writing and then maybe, just maybe given you have had problems in the past
  20. Have fun, went to this a few years back and it was a good day out. I would come along but will be on holiday. Enjoy
