  1. We came back from Switzerland 2 weeks ago, we noticed numerous police with cameras along the routes. We went with the intention of taking it slow, enjoying the scenery and not speeding. It is well known what happens if you do get caught. If you take the risk you have to pay for it, no sympathy I am afraid. The roads and views are stunning so why not just sit back, take it slow and enjoy the view. If you want to play with speed then use the autobahn on the way down
  2. I keep meaning to try and get to this event each year but it clashes with a family birthday. Dam
  3. 370z designer joins tesla https://electrek.co/2016/09/05/tesla-hires-designer-randy-rodriguez-nissan-370z-icon-a5-aircraft-nissan-titan/
  4. Personally I feel the 370 is an evolution of the 350. Cabin is a nicer place to be and I love the syncro Rev matching. Connect sat nav is also excellent. It does feel like it has a lot more power through the range however I came from the 276 350 so it was quite a jump up to Rosie at 350hp after the tweaks. However, I have let a number of people drive the 370 and those that had the later 350s said there was not that much of a difference re power delivery and if they didn't look down at the cockpit it felt like their 350. I found the seats more comfy in the 350 but that may be because I'm a bit of a giant and the 370 cabin on the roadster is shorter than the 350. I also found the 350 was a more raw experience, steering was heavier and you felt more connected to the road. You are aware that there is more technology between you and the road. The 370 does tram line more and I have heard of a number of 370 owners say the tyre noise is more pronounced in the 370. Funnily enough the roadster is quieter due to the changed structure behind the driver. Biggest issue with the 370 was the noise though, the standard exhaust was a huge dissapointment but that's easily fixed. Personally after I upgraded I never looked back, it's a very capable car and I'm glad I made the change but don't expect a huge change, it's an evolution, other than the syncro matching which is awesome
  5. Yeah I have to say the quality of the 4K footage from the phantom 4 camera is stunning
  6. Please put your hands together to welcome Coldel to the team. Col has been a regular and valued contributor here for a number of years and has now joined the team to help keep things running smoothly for you all. Thanks for stepping up Col, and good luck with the new role. At the same time the team would like to say a big thank you to Nissanman312, Wasso and Humpy who have all played a valuable part in keeping the forum in tip top shape. There is a lot of work that happens behind the scenes here to ensure the forum continues to operate effectively and these guys have been a great help. Unfortunately, due to time commitments these gents have decided it is time to make room for new blood with more time on their hands but we thank them for all their hard work. Well done, and if you find you have time again you are more than welcome to go green again. Welcome to all the new buttons Coldel, don't accidentally delete the forum now.
  7. Project Cars was awful, buggy and it has taken them ages to fix obvious issues. I had high hopes and they were dashed, all my friends moved on to other games. However, i went back to see how it is getting on after all the updates and it is miles miles better and is now a cracking game. Far more engrossing than Forza Dirt rally is amazing, it looks stunning and the physics are amazing. But, never have i ever sworn so much at a game before. It is rock hard but so rewarding when a stage goes well, then inevitably in the next stage you hit something and the swearing starts again

  10. I have a big long list of routes and great hotels. In the process of compiling and will post up
  11. Just seen this I've got a ticket and will see you gents there. Bit late for the stand I assume. Also not cleaned the zed since Austria.....cough cough
  12. We have just returned from 2 weeks down that way. The roadworks near the Gottard pass 2 weeks ago were such a pain and the motorway had severe delays too but it was so worth it when you drive those roads. Did you do the old cobbled gottard pass?
  13. Putting it bluntly there were times when i was shatting my pants. Clever me saw an epic waterfall next to a huge lake half way up a glacial road so decided, that looks easy im flying up there. Surrounded by trees half way up the waterfall i decided it was not so clever, so trying to look cool whilst everyone was watching and not panicking i crept it back. The resulting footage is stunning though and despite the heavy wind it was sooo stable Austria is very strict and you must fly within a limited height and within eye sight so i didnt send it far, but it was far enough
  14. Loved mine when i took it on the Euro roadtrip, its one of my new favourite toys. Be careful using them abroad - certain countries are very very strict
  15. Yes that did make me smile
  16. Spotted some nice advertising on EVO for you Tarmac http://www.evo.co.uk/nissan/370z/18070/should-i-keep-my-nissan-370z-evo-market
  17. Don't worry it's being addressed but thanks for the offer of assistance, much appreciated.
  18. Noted and being investigated by the team. Will keep you posted
