  1. Thanks for the number dan, useful to know and glad it's fixed. Now let's have that race lol
  2. That would have been me in brookwood. And yes those potholes are a pain in the arse, I'm fed up of the condition of the roads in surrey.
  3. I remember a number of people on here raising issues with tesco momentum fuel too. I know it says its 99 but some were saying that it varies between 92 and 99. I use v-power
  4. Fingers crossed for a quick recovery. We're the pdsa able to help?
  5. Reminds me of when i put the hfcs on my stillen. Lasted about 1 week before they came off as it was fun on a quiet road but embarrasing everywhere else and the headaches hurt
  6. Cool, let's take the BMW Andy lol Also got a plan for the former
  7. I'm sure I recognise that number plate or maybe I'm just going bonkers in my old age.
  8. I guess I was lucky with mine, I kept an eye on it in autotrader for months as it was overpriced, dropped by 5k so I gave them a bell on a Monday or Tuesday. Salesman said you are the first to call, he gave me a brief description which was immaculate and said I could have the first test drive, no commitment needed but I had first dibs. Turned up on the Saturday after a 2 hour drive and there she was, immaculate as he had described. Nice test drive and a thorough going over and she was mine. I guess I was lucky and the salesmen trusted clients and knew how to deal with customers. Hope you find a gem too.
  9. He took me for a drive a year or two back and we were getting wheel spin in 1st, 2nd....3rd..........4th........and 5th.... Lol Awesome car.
  10. Credit where credit is due, I actually enjoyed that one. Nice cars, nice locations, interesting section on military vehicles and of course the p1. More like that please.
  11. Looks lovely Iain, bet you are glad it's back on the road, hope It see it soon
  12. Mega endurance for me here too, although my old friend swore by olive oil, it's natural, works and doesn't affect the tyres long term
  13. Sorry to hear this. Just spoke to mum about it, she advised you contact the pdsa or the possibly blue cross for animals. Our neighbours had trouble with their dog and they couldn't afford the operation it needed. the pdsa paid the majority for her and she had to pay the rest as she could afford it. Some vets also pay for bills in installments so that may be an option Normally you need to go with a vet that works with the pdsa but they should be able to advise. Fingers crossed for you.
  14. You would be crazy to buy without seeing it. Have a read on here about things to look out for, take it for a decent test drive and make sure it all feels sound. It's a buyers market so get out there, try some out, inspect all the details and get a feel for the car and make sure you get a gem. There may be some forum members near the cars you are looking at so give a shout out on here to see if anyone can come along and give you some pointers. I would say there is less risk getting a car from one of the owners here as others can vouch how it has been looked after but I still say you have to go take a look. No point spending 5-10k and ending up with a car you haven't seen and don't like for one reason or another
  15. Lovely car and cracking colour. Looking forward to seeing this one in wales
  16. Yesterday leaving work a woman drove up along side me on the dual carriageway. Traffic was slow moving and as I looked over I saw she had a young child in the front seat and she was merrily texting away, spending more time looking at her phone than the road.....tried to get her attention to say what I thought but she was too engaged in the phone.
  17. May be better to pm him directly or call
  18. Those Buttons are completely different on the roadster, nice little knobs to allow 6 variations of hot and cold a/c
