Yes it is.
Wheels are Volk G2's
I need Volk G2's....
-
There you go mate.
Doubt it has any effect but looks good.
That's the one!! And your wheels....
-
One more question. I noticed after fitting the rear ones that the angle of the wheels is more than before. Meaning the inside edge of the wheel will get more road contact... Should I take the car in for laser wheel alignment after fitting the spacers to get the camber / toe etc adjusted to correct this problem?
The increased camber is part of the appeal when fitting spacers and/or lowering - and it does not seem to have a great effect on handling but here is at thread that might help:
viewtopic.php?f=100&t=26673&hilit=camber+spacers
If you do a search you will find the subject has ben aired many time before
Yeah I thought it would have come up before... Thanks for that, I didn't think it would make much difference.. Still think I am going to take it in for laser alignment anyway just to be sure everything is 100%
Can't beat that "Peace of mind" feeling!!!

By splitter do you mean Diffuser or a rear Lip?
Diffuser

My god dude... Wish I had a tenth of your knowledge!!! Brilliant post!!
-
Always loved the look of splitters on cars... Is there anything available for a 350z? Would it do anything other than look cool? IE improve handling??
-
Looking 1000000 times better I think!!! Havn't driven the car yet though... going to after work to see if there is any real difference!
Any news on my previous post about camber adjustment peeps??

I had the very same problem when fitting mine and thats why this forum is so great! i had an answer within minutes
Amen to that! God bless the forum!!!

Ahh brilliant! Never seen that before is all, didn't know if someone in the past might have done some sort of bodge job repair on my hub or something! You can never be too careful! I will fit the front ones tomorrow then and get some pics up!!
Cheers people!

Should take about an hour. Remember to use copper grease on the faces of the spacers though.
Yep did that... Only thing is, slight problem. Did the rear wheels no problem at all. Front ones though, took the wheel off and there seems to be a 6th bolt protruding from the hub?? Is this normal??? With it there the spacer will not fit the hub!
Pics:
What do I do people??
Thanks!

Hopefully... Just have to fight this hang-over!!!
I will post some before / after pics up as I go!

Dammit!!! I would have had those off of you.... Perfect wheels for a 350!!!

tempted to find out, moines coming in life is good
I'm asking the dude selling these a few Q's at the moment, have a feeling they don't know much about what they are selling... I should really just leave it since down the line I'll be getting a different polished pipe...you buy it!
Lol noooo I don't want to be a guinea-pig! you buy it!!!
-
how often do you look under the hood? id rather have stock box + panel filter for more juice
Yeah I know what you mean but I do want the engine to look great... that's the only part of the car that's changing!!
-
Especially if you're going for 60mm.... lots of extra strain on the bearings you see
-
I didn't think doubling up would have been a good idea haha dose using these drastically reduce the life span of bearings ?
I wouldn't say drastically but yes, they will suffer
-
Lol, you had me going there!!!
-
My bro played the Nurburgring on GT5 Prologue before he actually went, just to kinda familiarize himself with the track
And it worked very well, haha
That's a really good idea!! I know from watching that Top Gear when Clarkson took an NSX round Launa Seca on the game and in real life that the corners etc are not 100% accurate but it must be close!!

like the piping, wonder if it would fit into the std airbox, might buy one to find out
That's another thing I was thinking, I only want it to make the piping look a bit better, do you reckon it would fit the standard box?? With a bit of trimming maybe??
-
I wouldn't buy it. If going down this road I would buy from a trusted maker and not a money maker. Your more likely too loose even more BHP with a cheap system
That's what I thought, can you recommend me something other than the K&N which is over £200????!!!
Thanks!

Any good? Or waste of money?? I'm not looking for a BHP increase as I know there really isn't much in it and the stock one does a good job, just after looks really! (without too much power loss)
If this is no good, what's people's recommendations??
Thanks!

I had 55mm on the rear of my FTO with no trouble... But I wouldnt advise bolting spacers together... Just get 1 set that's the right size!

Chav
Lmao... Man that is seriously loud... My FTO was loud like that and I ended up hating it!
Rear splitter??

Does it give any handling gains? Fast cornering I spose it would.... But when can you fast corner on UK roads! lol
