    OEM exhaust ?

Hi everyone. I recently removed my oem exhaust including the cats and fitted a new Cobra setup with HKS cats. As i will probably sell my oem system and cats, has anyone an idea of the kind of price i should be asking ? My car is an 05 roadster and has only covered 18,000 miles. The exhaust looks in decent condition. Many thanks mrt
  3. Got a complete system including cats.Have come from my 04 roadster with 18k miles on.

    What to get?

Recently fitted a full Cobra resonated and berks high flow cats. Great sound over 3k revs but drones like hell below. Now considering whether to put the oem backbox back on as my neighbours have all put up for sale signs !

    MORE BHP.

This has to be a wind up surely ?
  7. This might make you all cringe ! No claims ever ( 40+ years driving) Second car Mods ( so far ) included Good area. Yorkshire Dales. No points. £ 320 fully comp from E Sure.
  8. Your rear axle drive shaft flange needs lubricating. Easy job , low cost, 1 hour max. Try 350z.com and input clicking axle in the search bar. Good video guide to fixing the problem. Did mine a month ago .... no problems since then. Good luck
  9. Outside the box as usual ! Design your own. It,s a custom zed so why not give it a custom backside ? maybe clear ?
  10. E sure gave me £ 320 for me as a second car with just 50 % ncb introductory discount. Me ? age 60 plus with full no claims on my other car.(59 Passat c.c. ) Haven,t claimed for anything for over 30 plus years . ( fingers still crossed )
  11. I bought my seven year old zed three months ago with 13k miles on and the original tyres ( factory coded apparently ) which had cracks between the treads on the rears. They still had 4mm on but i changed the full set to Falkens.Much better than the Bridgetsones anyway. IMO replace yours... better safe than sorry.
  12. plan to go over in the morning ( sunday ) hope there,s still some there ! Should make it by 10.
  13. Ricey. Agree with you cause to date i,ve owned 38 cars in the last 45 years ! e type, mgb,mg midget, corvette stingray, lotus elise, jaguar xjs, mg mustang, b.m.w.m3 ,mitsubish gto, s class merc,740 bmw, lexus 400,merc sl,just to name but a few of the more exotic ones. All started very humbly with a moggie 1000 back in 1966. Wish i had kept pictures now.
  14. Beavis... i saw this thread and the guide which i didn,t qite follow. I found the 350z.com American site and under Click Clacking rear axle there is a good photo guide which was followed today. Very easy job especially if you have access to powered ramp. 1.remove the wheel and spacer ( if fitted) 2.remove cotter pin on wheel hub nut 3.mark nut and hub with tipex to re align when re building. 4 go to six axle nuts and remove 5. return to hub nut and remove ( i used a power gun ) 6. drop the axle down but take care not to put too much strain on the c.v. joint 7 Using a rubber mallet tap the drive shaft through the hub far enough to reveal the end of the shaft and metal flange. 8 apply grease to the flange 9 re assemble using reverse method 10. forgot ! mark the axle nuts so they return on the same studs. 11. torque hub nut to 177ft/lbs Took photos which i will post soonest. good luck
  15. I,ve used plenty of language on my computer... makes no bl**dy difference it,s still as slow as a snail.
  16. I,ll clean your car ,you can fix my computer... deal ?
  17. Thanks Ricey, i really appreciate that !
  18. "Clean and simple".... exactly.... might add classy too. imo before anyone shoots me down ! Great to see a business developing in these difficult times...and an honoury brummie too ! mrt
  19. Thanks doogyrev It was driving me up the wall ! now i,m smiling again. cheers
  20. Common problem on Zeds i believe.. a click clack noise when pulling off and changing low gears. Noise comes from the rear wheel area. After some research found that the drive shaft flange needed lubrication. Easy one hour job and the car is spot on now.
  21. Ian try Copperplate Gothic Bold. Distinctive on all my past brochures and adverts especially when reversed out white on black. mrt.....( Guru ! )
  22. Go for it Ian !... You,ve allready done the groundwork and taken quite a few steps forward. Only one direction to travel now.... upwards ! Great work and good luck mrt p.s. nice touch with the thank you post too..
