  1. Caroline's Twilight Grey roadster, never seen another one in this colour. Pete
  2. Welcome along . You'll just love Wales. Pete
  3. More than likely, yes. The thing is that you don't have to inform The DVLA of a colour change if the car is wrapped so the seller will probably have taken the details off the log book. There was someone on here who wrapped a Silver in White but it was a long time ago and has probably changed hands several times since then. Pete
  4. Was the tyre hot? If so check out your tyre pressure, it should be 35 psi when cold. One of the problems with todays modern ultra low profile tyres is that the walls are so stiff that lack of pressure isn't as obvious as it once used to be. Pete
  5. White ones were only available for a short while in 2008, are very rare (I've only ever seen one in the flesh) and fetch a bit more than your average Zed. If you see an earlier white one it is either an import from Japan or has had a complete respray, nothing wrong with that mind you. Welcome along. Pete
  6. I'm not a great fan of this kit but if it's presented like the one below then its no worse than some other kits knocking about . Pete
  7. Welcome along...Interesting colour schemes there. Pete
  8. I think it may be this one with a few further mods last seen at Wales 2011...could be wrong though. Pete
  9. Most U.K cars are GT's. I remember when investigating buying a new one in early 2006 that the figure was around 90%. There were apparently a number of reasons for this, one of them being that salesmen would stress the resale value would be much higher and easier to sell on and also that the waiting list would be shorter. The 3 dealers I visited all sang from the same hymn sheet and were probably right on the first two things. Pete
  10. Yes, an Ultra Yellow import, probably rarer than a GT4 (but not as valuable). I don't really know what to make of it in its current guise, but it certainly stands out from the crowd. Pete
  11. Yes, Zunsport one in black would look great...Welcome along . Pete
  12. I have a set of rears for sale . Pete
  13. They come up for sale now and again but are in the region of £350 to £500 per light. You can recoup some of that by selling your original "orange stripe" headlights, but you're still looking at a considerable outlay. Pete
  14. One of them, not the one you're getting I should add, suffered some moderate frontal damage back in 2008. Wonder how hard it is to get paint for the Type G as I can't find any other Nissan that comes in Interlagos Fire. From an archived post on here.... Pete

    Stubby ariel

Yes, they should unscrew. Mine was very tight, I guess 6 years build up of various road debris had got into the thread. Pete

    What lip is this?

Yes, it's a Greddy, mine's a replica though. Here it is with 3D Carbon sideskirts. Pete
  17. There's plenty of info on that Type Z on our rival forum, not sure if there's anything on this forum but I believe the owner was on this forum at one stage. Nice colour Pete
  18. BBC are reporting that the Renault engine is 100-150bhp down on power (and obviously not very reliable either). Even with the genius of Adrian Newey , Red Bull are going to struggle for some time to come. Pete
  19. Same here, I used to buy just about every one that came out in the 70's but just ran out of space and made a bonfire with them. Except for MotorSport and Autosport which I sold on EBAy....24 years worth with less than a dozen missing, freed up loads of space. Pete
  20. Absolutely right, but can Mercedes, Ferrari or another team put enough daylight between them before they get it sorted? It's going to be an interesting season. Pete
  21. Same here, I had my Zed for 3 1/2 years before I joined this forum and not even a stubby . Pete
