  1. I used to remove my Rotor Arm years ago . Edit, I went to watch a football match in Wolverhampton donkeys years ago. Got there really early and parked about half a mile from the ground. During the match the girl I was with vanished into the crowd so I waited outside the ground for a couple of minutes before I decided to go and wait for her in the car (it was freezing). Got back to my car and I couldn't find the keys, searched every pocket but no keys. Then I found them, in the car door in full view of everyone as I'd parked on the opposite side of the road. They'd been in there for 5 hours so they must be an honest lot in Wolverhampton ! Pete

    How many?

That would be Twilight Grey and only Nissan could give you an exact figure as "How many left" doesn't distinguish between colours. I would guess the numbers of 313's in any colour fitted with Nismo kits is pretty low though, maybe 10-20% of the 1,000 or so 313's sold in The U.K. Pete
  3. Just as an aside, I'll be peeling off on the Saturday run at some stage to go home for no more than an hour, then returning straight to The Moreton. Pete
  4. Your'e right. A couple of stories I remember the first from the 1980's. While "Car Magazine" were covering The R.A.C rally they were also testing out a Ford Cosworth. They parked it up one night right outside the foyer of a large hotel in Newcastle and wedged it in using two other vehicles. In the morning it had gone and neither of the other 2 vehicles had moved an inch, probably used a forklift truck to get it out. Secondly, in the early 2000's a young hot hatch enthusiast decided to chain his car down using concrete blocks with thick iron rings on plus other alarms....still got nicked. Finally, from my own experience, my uncle had a 3 month old Rover SDI, his wife a new VW Polo, she parked hers in a locked garage, his Rover was parked on the drive behind the door. One morning his Rover had been moved onto the road outside his house, the Polo was gone Pete
  5. The worst mistake I ever made was to leave the hotel I was staying at and driving on the left side of the road for almost a mile before I remembered I was in France . Funny thing is, neither of my passengers (both experienced drivers) noticed my mistake. I also got pulled by a Police car in Colorado when I went down a one way street the wrong way and once sailed through a set of red lights in Wolverhampton.....and before the motorways had barriers did a U-Turn when I hit a traffic jam . Pete
  6. How many times did it take? I'm paranoid about burning the motor out. It took 6 or 7 attempts to get ours down a couple of weeks ago. As soon as it sticks then release the open button and close it again. Next time you try, while its in the position in the above photo apply some grease to all of the joints you can find, you can also give the hood a bit of a push but don't force it down. As already stated its a common problem, we've experienced this every year in the spring first time we've taken it down for 4 years. Pete
  7. Yes, I'm interested . Pete
  8. Front tyres should last 18 -20k, Rear ones in the region of 10k. Some will get less than that, depends how you drive really. Pete
  9. I believe that Box Junctions are the the responsibility of the local authority, much in the way that bus lanes are, so as already stated just a fine. Pete
  10. Yes they can, they have 6 months after the evidence comes to light. I know they have prosecuted various bikers who filmed themselves speeding a couple of years later but after 14 years I doubt they would bother (unless it involved a fatal crash) Pete
  11. You speeding again Pete . Actually no, The Azure was creeping up the dual carriageway at about 40 mph . Pete
  12. Spotted the Azure again today, I actually overtook it! I got the reg slightly wrong it's FW56 *** and a facelift. Pete
  13. Yes, easily done.... but there are 2 other alternative spellings, Nyger and Nyjer and I've noticed that the place I buy it from is now labeling it up as Nyjer Seed. Pete
  14. I had a Celica T-Sport for 4 years and traded it in for my Zed. Pete
  15. Maybe but it wont affect much. Look at Jonathan Ross, he still gets plenty of work after the "manuel" scandel, and wasnt Chris Evans at one point "sacked" by the BBC for something or another, and yet now he`s rinsing it and has a fleet of cars. Probably true, most celebrities with huge ego's have the ability to bounce back and I'm sure Clarkson could make a decent living outside of TV. Simon Dee (remember him?) would probably be the exception to this rule though . Pete
  16. Quite true, but BBC are rightly concerned about their image. Sky sacked their 2 main football commentators because of sexist slurs they made off camera, Andy Gray and Richard Keys and they also got rid of Rodney Marsh over a joke he made about the Asian Tsunami. Clarkson isn't unsackable and I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if at the very least they suspended him. Pete
  17. A quick trip around any Supermarket car park will give you a clue to who really loves their car. Our ASDA has a split car park, the bottom car park has maybe 200 spaces and even on busy days there's only about 20 cars parked down there as it's a long walk (200 yards) to the store from there. The cars I see down there include the store managers white new style Audi TT and there was a Cayman S parked down there recently but I've yet to see for example a 50k Chelsea Tractor parked down there. The fact is that most people prefer to park as near to the doors as possible, doesn't matter if they've got a Porker, a Merc or an expensive BMW they'll just squeeze into the nearest available space to the door and if there isn't a space they just drive round and round the car park . Caroline learned this the hard way when her Audi TT suffered damage twice in that car park, first time a big door ding and the second time a new front wing was required. EDIT, I've yet to a see another Zed parked at the far end of the car park but have seen many parked up in the "danger" areas....including one who is a member on here . Pete
  18. Yes, couldn't agree more. I do listen to other peoples opinions on cars but at the end of the day usually ignore them . My budget would have stretched to a brand new Boxster S or a top of the range 3.2 Audi TT but I just fancied a 350Z. I like being different . Pete
  19. Most of the time really, just don't like the guy. Pete
  20. Well, that's amazing, all the other cars look to be petal free as well. Could be worse though it could have been a lime tree . Pete

  22. Mine got damaged when the garage removed my OEM rear spoiler. ChrisS kindly fitted the OEM one he had removed from his Zed and I believe he just used double sided to tape which secured it on. That was in 2010 and its still on, rock solid. Pete
