  1. I avoid 4 W/D's as well. It's really difficult to reverse out of your spot with one of these leviathans parked along side you. In fact I rarely park in any spaces that aren't roll on, roll off. Being crap at reversing doesn't help though Pete
  2. I think he's referring to the "other" forum for Zed, GTR owners. We don't talk about it much here Pete Oh right. Thanks Pete. I know the forum you mean. It's illegal though to even speak of there name on here. Good job too. Not going to take a chance and name it, probably get a warning point . Pete
  3. Yeah, hope he pulls through. 8 years is nothing when you consider their life expectancy is 50-70 with some reaching 90!!!! Please keep us posted. Pete
  4. I think he's referring to the "other" forum for Zed, GTR owners. We don't talk about it much here Pete There's another forum!!!!! I didn't know this. Maybe they have jag drivers too! Hahaha No idea as I'm not a member, they used to charge an annual fee and probably still do! Pete
  5. Those seats look a bit special They're £1,960 extra, but they are really nice. Pete

  7. You get what you pay for, these start at around £49k and just about everything like cruise control is an extra. Nice motors though. Pete
  8. They brought a white S-Tune over from Japan, vanished without a trace. Pete
  9. Yeah, I went to The States (Los Angeles) in 1981 for a taster visit. A long way to fly for a week, an 11 hour direct flight, but having got a taste for it I've been back 14 times since . Good luck and I'm not envious at all . Pete
  10. Yeah, they come up for sale on the forum now and again but usually go within minutes. Pete
  11. It's inevitable really, emotions are starting to run high on both sides of the debate and it doesn't really matter who wins. I would have preferred a thumping Yes Or No vote but that's not going to happen, it's too close to call and there'll be a lot of angry people once the result is known. Pete
  12. This time of year you don't really need to do anything for a 2 week gap. Mine often goes 10-14 days sitting on the drive. Pete
  13. Yeah I really loved that car Yes, wanted one of these myself but the waiting list put me off, finished up with an XR3i. Pete
  14. No, I've not removed mine. This happened to me in The States in a hire car, luckily on the last day I was there. Pete
  15. Just a hunch but I think that they'll tighten things up a bit when tax discs are abolished in November this year as they'll be relying more on cameras, both fixed and mobile than previously. Pete
  16. What I find really odd is that one of the 4 countries that make up The U.K namely Wales the country I live in seems to have little interest in becoming independent. Polls show that only 10% support independence and the majority of these are in Welsh speaking areas such as North West Wales. Anti English feelings can run high, remember the arson campaign against second homes in the 80's and before that The Free Wales army who blew a few things up.There's no doubt that the Welsh are just as patriotic and proud of their country as the Scots and feel downtrodden by London so why the lack of interest? Will this change if the Scots vote yes? Pete
  17. Thanks.. Yeah I've never owned anything other than a standard domestic cat before so I did some considerable research before getting a bengal or three. I considered other breeds too and may get a Somali kitten next year now I've got the cat bug again . Bengals are super active cats, they only have 2 modes On and Off. Off is when they're sleeping and On is when they are running around like complete lunatics. They fit in great with our other cats too and follow you around like a dog would do. They are a handful for for sure but despite what I read about them they are child friendly they get on really well with our 4 year old very active granddaughter, better than most of the other cats who scatter when they see her Pete
  18. Steve Parish owns or owned the reg PEN 15, cost a cool £90k . Pete
  19. Oh, that's a new one on me, only ever seen white resprays and Imports on the road. Did spot a 57 reg Temper Orange in Queensferry today though but I know who the owner of that car is. Pete
  20. Yes a fine for the first couple of offences, then confiscation, ask Lexx. Pete
  21. You're a bit of a pr*ck for buying that . Pete
  22. Interesting Pete, not me or my Zed I don't think / hope, as clearly I am all man and my Zed is just 'well used' and I've had it for god few years No,I know your car this one was bog standard even down to the 17" inch wheels on early imports. PA is Preston so maybe there was a Jap specialist importer there at some stage. Pete
  23. Coincidence I suppose, but there was until recently a Chilli Red Import with The reg PA03 around these parts, North Wales. I used to see it most days as it was parked outside a branch of "Charlies" in Deeside. It apparently was owned by a woman who worked there and I believe ChrisS flyered it on more than one occasion. When I saw the title of the thread I thought to myself "so that's where it went" as this was one of the roughest Zeds I've ever seen, I don't think it was often cleaned and I don't think the exhaust tips had ever been cleaned. Pete
