  1. A one off was Dr. Paisley. RIP Pete
  2. Can't be 100% certain but the rollers are run one side at a time, it's only after they've tested each side they run the simultaneous test. You'd have to ask an MOT tester though. Pete
  3. A good thing if you ask me. The internet is full of debates like this and they've turned really ugly in the last few days. Pete
  4. No, but I've heard lots of rumours regarding the Haas team. Some of the names mentioned are bizarre (Montoya, Patrick) and Rossi has held talks but I'm sure that you're more in the loop than me on that one . Pete Wont be Montoya, or Patrick, poss Rossi, he got money but no experience. I believe they were trying to get Maldonado and his millions, Rossi is the only American driver with a super license right now, Daly could probably get one and then there's Marco Andretti, Hunter-Reay, Rahal and a couple of others. I did hear they'll be locating their European base in The Silverstone area and create several hundred jobs. Pete

  6. Seeing as its gone silent on the Forza Rossa entry I decided to do some digging to see what's going on. Eventually I found a foreign site that stated that they have now paid the entry fee, or at least The Romanian gov't had. More digging and came up with a couple more things. First off the car will run Renault engines and secondly the car is currently being designed in Germany. They still plan to be on the grid in 2015 although this would seem unlikely to me. Pete
  7. They've never been down our lane but you can see my Zed in the aerial photo though. I did spot Caroline's Z4 in a car park on Deeside so I guess they were last around here in 2009. Just took another look and spotted Caroline's roadster in the same car park dated March 2011. Pete .
  8. Only the No side is allowed to scaremonger Pete
  9. My daughter used to work out to ZZ Top Pete
  10. Are you saying that Westminster is or has been putting a block on companies setting up business's in Scotland? Or could it be the uncertainty that is putting companies off, or maybe there's other factors. Pete
  11. I voted no but may well change my mind before next week . Pete
  12. The HR's and facelifts are 70 kgs heavier than the early DE's. 1446kgs compared to 1515kgs. Pete
  13. So you think India gaining Independence from england was a bad thing too? I just don't understand how you could support no. It's the same thing. India isn't physically attached to England, was never an integrated part of The U.K and the Rupee has been used since 1540, so IMHO completely different. Pete
  14. That's the only part I've had to change on mine, lasted 2 and a half years . Pete
  15. I've been unable to find any information anywhere on 2 very important security questions. There is an entire section on the Scottish gov site about policing and security but absolutely nothing that I could find about sharing the Police National Computer or sharing the DNA database. http://scotreferendum.com/topic/law-and-order/ Pete
  16. There's a rather huge FAQ on the Scottish Gov't web site that attempts to cover all of these issues, took me about 3 hours to read and digest it. Current Passports will be valid until they expire. The DVLA situation is more cloudy as the Scottish Gov currently have no plans to set up their equivalent right away. They will therefore be using The DVLA for an unknown period. The FAQ is actually very good, makes an awful lot of presumptions that the remainder of The U.K is going to play ball to their demands though. Pete
  17. The next election will be held on May 7th 2016, independence day is planned for March 2016, so The SNP will do all of the negotiating. Pete
  18. One of the problems that BT have. Yes sounds positive, No sounds negative. Pete
  19. It's not that, its because of the difficulties of establishing who is Scottish...well not so much difficult but time consuming. There are some 500,000+ living in England alone and probably just as many scattered over the globe, just imagine the paperwork involved with that number. Then there's the children of voting age who have at least one Scottish parent and consider themselves Scottish. Pete
  20. Welcome to the forum We have a member on here from Finland Pete
  21. I just despair of the polls really, when it is so close it really is pointless trying to call it either way There's only one poll that counts but the exit polls are pretty accurate. We'll know one way or the other one minute after the polls close unless its desperately close that is. Pete
  22. They cancelled the Bahrain GP in 2011. Pete
