A bit different here as I'd already owned my Zed for 3 and a half years before I joined. Just stumbled on the forum when I was browsing the Internet. Didn't join right away, the only other car forum I'd joined was the TT forum and that didn't leave a good impression TBH. So I just lurked for a week or 2 before deciding to join up. Pete

Probably didn't align it correctly, it's stupidly difficult. Pete

He arrived while it was still light yesterday so I was able to get a better photo of him. Now fully grown this is one of the kittens that we had from an animal rescue centre, she's turned out to be a real treasure. She does like sitting on my rear spoiler though . She also went missing for 2 days, I eventually found her hunting in the disused quarry, half a mile away! Pete

Used to do this with my first car a 1965 Mini Van but I don't think I've used this technique since then. Probably forgotten how to do it TBH. Pete

Yes, he's in fair nick considering. His coat is pretty good and he doesn't have any battle scars and of course he's getting one decent meal a day.. I'd estimate he's at the most 18 months old. There was another almost identical male black cat that arrived at the same time, probably the same litter but that one vanished after a couple of weeks. This is what we usually find, we had a tabby cat that was here for a day last year and also a black and white cat that stayed for a day too, both of these were tame though. Over the years we've had maybe 20 ferals/strays that have passed through our garden and only 4 or 5 have stayed long enough to be given names . Pete

It would be quite a challenge TBH. He isn't a stray cat looking for a new home, IMO, he's never had any contact with humans and is (well was) very wild. He's not stupid though, he's figured out the cat flap but generally sits by the back door patiently waiting to be fed and then he's off. Ideally, I'd like to tame him and get him to the vets for neutering to save him getting into fights and wandering off when the breeding season starts but that is a long way off. Progress so far is slow, he no longer runs away when I go out with his food and I've managed to give him a few gentle strokes. Sometimes it works, I managed to tame a female cat after a couple of months but the last true feral we had here in the 80's I never got within 10 feet of it in 5 years. Pete

Not our cat but a very nervous feral that's been hanging around for a few months. First time we've had a regular feral since the early 80's. We've called him Bagpuss, my 4 year old granddaughter thought of that one. . We're pretty certain that its a male cat and quite young too and he turns up almost every evening for a bowl of food and a drink of milk. Feel a bit sorry for him really as it'll be tough to survive more than a couple winters out here in the countryside, there's no other houses around here. Pete

PreFacelift I think, waved but got no response. Also last Sunday at Broughton Park a GM Coupe a long way away but could have been a 54 plate. Pete

That's really sad. Pete

Really sorry to hear this, hope things get better soon. Pete

I don't think he's actually done any programming since this picture was taken Seriously though, I would reinstall Word, one of the DLL files could be corrupted or even overwritten by a version that Word 2013 was not expecting. EDIT, I see you've already done that in which case you may need to do a full system restore. Pete

Nope, not keen myself but these are the options/risks that anyone considering joining the armed forces has to weigh up. My dad didn't get that choice. Pete

Well, we call them GT4 wheels here but they are usually called Touring Wheels V2. They were never fitted or even option on U.K cars, apart from The GT4 of course, but came as standard on some of the U.S models and on a few Japanese ones , maybe in other countries too. They starting appearing on Irish cars as early as 2005/6 although I've no idea when they became standard over there. I don't think there are any differences in specs compared to The U.K models although in Ireland they use K.P.H and K.P.G. Speedo will most likely have been replaced with an M.P.H version, not too sure if they replace or re-program the onboard computer though. Pete

Spot on, most of them are 2006 models but there were a few HR's as well. To give you an idea on price in 2008 the last of The HR's were around the 30k mark. When I considered changing my 2006 prefacelift in late 2008 Lookers of Chester had several Irish imports in for 21k or 22.5k for the roadster, would have had one but for the lousy deal they offered me. I voted Yes in 1975 and I'm 95% certain that I'd vote Yes again depending on what terms the U.K could negotiate. I'm not sure there will be a referendum in 2017 though or any other time in the future TBH. Pete
-
Somewhere between 10-11.5K . Although it won't make a great deal of difference to the value what you have there is almost certainly an Irish import. They were brought over to The U.K when the Irish economy collapsed in 2008. Pete

Good call, there are usually lots of markings on the inner rim. Take the wheel on the opposite side off and see if the markings match. Pete

Congrats on the win. The very first time I did the lottery, in fact the week after it started, I got 4 numbers that won me the grand total of £76 . Won nothing but a few tenners since. Pete

Aye, you're right. For the first time in my life I voted tactically at the last general election and regretted it within 24 hours. Pete -

The size of the Yes vote leaves me with no doubt that Westminster is on a final warning. Pete -

How? Not even the people counting tonight will know where its going. It wouldn't be the first time bookies paid out too early. Liverpool vs AC Milan 2005 is one case Pete -
Very quiet 10 miles away too and really warm outside for the time of year...Storms are forecast for around 5 this morning though. Pete

There are at least 2 companies that do conversions from the 350z to 370Z bumper namely Carbonfiberhoods and Duraflex. You would also have to get hold of a set of 370Z headlights as well. There are a few photos knocking around of the conversions but not pretty IMHO. Pete

Caroline used to deal with speed awareness courses (collecting the money ) and tells me that North Wales Police send out all their tickets first class every Monday, that includes people caught on the Sunday so up here you would wait a maximum of 8 days.. Pete
