I thought pearl white was only available as import? No, there was a limited run of them in the U.K in 2008. Pearl white imports are reasonably common and not really worth any more than a standard import. U.K ones are a different matter. Pete

Front Fogs????? No front fogs on the 350Z Should be lower tax rate, I'm pretty sure that the first registration no matter where it is is the important thing. Pete

It's a very rare colour that's for sure, if it was bog standard would be worth around the 12-13k mark , add the turbo/supercharger and you're looking at 16-17k. The body kit doesn't add anything to the value and in this case probably detracts from it. For the highest resale value, just like the Ultra Yellow GT4's the Pearl White ones are best left unmolested (Unless they have a genuine factory fitted Nismo kit), IMHO. Pete

Yeah, facelift came out in Japan approx October 2005. One difference I noted was that this one doesn't have headlight washers, obviously they can't be required in Japan. Strictly speaking they are required on Bi-Xenons but I've yet to hear of one failing its MOT without them. Pete

Well, I reckon the breakdown trucks are going to be kinda busy up there for a while . You may well be lucky but sadly it seems that hundreds of cars were overwhelmed while parked up outside houses, some were barely visible so deep was the water. Pete

In general, most first owners will use the recommended fuel, there will be of course some that don't. The problem gets more serious when the residual value of the cars drop and new owners who underestimate running costs will start taking shortcuts to save money. You could buy a Zed with a complete set of fuel receipts but there's no guarantee that the owner before him/her has run on 97 RON. With a few exceptions,maybe as many as 20 in 9 years when our local garage has run out of 97 RON mine has been run on the good stuff from new but I've never kept receipts, I'm not that well organised . I bought a 32" last week and fitted it in the passenger seat (in box), tight fit though, door needed to be "forced" shut I did try to fit a 32" into the roadster boot a couple of weeks ago (not in box) but it just wasn't possible, 28" would have fitted easy peasy though. Pete

Very sad to hear this awful news. I only met Martin once at LakeZ 2011 and sadly didn't get to have more than a 5 minute chat with him. A very nice guy and a larger than life character, always ready to help out with a smile on his face. A legend not just on here but on the Z scene in general. He'll be missed probably more than we realize at the moment. My sincere condolences go out to Liz, his family and his friends on here, especially Lexx who I know was very close to him. It may well start but there's a strong chance that it won't hold its charge. I'm on my 3rd battery and the first one lasted about 2 weeks after I got it started and gave it a good run. The strain on the battery at this time of year is very high with lights, heater, heated seats, etc and it'll only get worse when the real cold weather arrives. Pete
