  1. I've just found another set of 20mm spacers, whoever buys the wheels can have these for an extra £30. Pete
  2. I'm selling my 20" Penta Axis wheels. The wheels will need a refurb as 3 of them have some kerb rash. The dimensions are ET 35, 10J for the rear wheels and ET 40 and 9J for the fronts. The tyres on the front are Nexxen 245/35/20 and are good for another 10k easily. The rear tyres are NanKang 275/30/20 and are near to the end of their lives, one of them has a puncture but I don't know if it's repairable. I'm also including a pair of 20mm spacers. These wheels are very rare and haven't been manufactured since 2009 so this is a unique chance to get a set at a decent price which I'm setting at £500. Collection only. On the car. Pete

From a 2010 thread on this forum. Pete
  4. Yes, leather, electric and heated seats. Bose stereo too. Pete
  5. Welcome, Good to see another member from round these parts. I live in the Buckley area. Pete
  6. Haven't looked at the damage yet. I had a stupid few days and thought that I'd damaged a wheel stud, it only dawned on me today while I was changing the front wheels that it was the spacer that was damaged I'll whizz it off on Sunday and take a look (and post some pics). Luckily, I have a couple of spare spacers but I'll be selling them shortly. Cheers, Pete
  7. I've damaged one of the studs on a generic 20mm hubcentric wheel spacer while changing my wheels over. Can they be replaced and if so how? Thanks, Pete
  8. Could be an unsold car imported from Ireland. A load of these, a mixture of rev-ups and HR's were imported by dealers late 2008 when the Irish economy hit the buffers. Only thing is, all the ones I've seen have GT4 wheels on them. Pete
  9. Alfa Romeo looking at a return to F1.....................using a Ferrari engine http://www.motorsport.com/f1/news/marchionne-alfa-romeo-f1-return-would-be-with-own-team-672980/ Pete
  10. Apparently, Hampshire, Dorset and The City of London are not part of the SAC database either. Pete
  11. At one time local police forces had their own SAC database which they didn't share, so you could attend a course in Wales then get caught speeding in say Somerset and do another course. These days all the SAC's are on a shared database, except for maybe Scotland who don't do SAC's and Northern Ireland plus the Crown dependencies. If over 3 years have elapsed you can be offered another SAC and previous attendance won't show up. Things are done differently these days, points are removed from the DVLA database after a certain period (depends on the offense) but not from the PNC. At one time, if you attended court then they would read out all of your motoring offenses back to the year dot. Mate of mine, he's in his 80's now, got caught speeding in 1983 and they read out his previous speeding conviction back in 1958!! Pete
  12. Only the police have access to speeding awareness courses, the DVLA or insurance companies do not. After 7 years from the original offense the records are completely deleted. I would imagine that in a serious accident that ends up in court you'd be on sticky ground if the police revealed you'd been on a SAC and you had lied to your insurance company, Of course if they don't ask then you may be O.K.....read the small print on your insurance documents. Pete
  13. I haven't given it any serious thought really. P/X'ing it isn't an option as I wouldn't get anywhere near what I think its worth so because its running absolutely perfectly with no issues its best that I hang on to it Pete
  14. Not cost me a lot either, needs new front brakes and I had a new banana arm last year. I'm very light on my cars, my Escort cost me very little, just consumables and a fuel pump, was still on the original exhaust and Turbo....well built cars are Fords. Pete Pete
  15. Yes, there are a few who have had their Zed's longer than me, Bronzee has had hers since 2003, Mike (M13KYF) since 2004 I think and Beavis and Nixy are also 9-10 year owners, maybe a few more as well. Pete

    Zunsport grill

I used to have one and yes really easy! Looking good Mike Yes, unless you have a lip that sits on top of the bottom of the recess, I had to anchor mine in place with wooden blocks behind the plastic grill slots. Pete
  17. Got to 75 a couple of times Pete
  18. Don't really know but many hydrolocks are caused by bow waves created by traffic passing the opposite direction (thoughtless people in their 4X4's are especially good at this), although I wouldn't have thought that 8" was deep enough to cause a significant bow wave. Pete
  19. Goodness me, haven't the last 9 years flown quickly . Bought my Zed on the 6th February 2007 and its still going strong. Well, I guess with just 23,744 miles on the clock it should be . No idea how long I'm going to keep it for, could be anything from 12 months to 3 years. Still got a while to go to beat my record though, I had my Escort RS Turbo from December 1999 through to July 2001, although it did have 118,000 on the clock . Pete
  20. Nor me, it's on for 5 hours, 4 of which will be adverts Pete
