  1. Definitely a Nurrish Nav. The official thread with pics. viewtopic.php?f=38&t=24395&hilit=nurrish+satnav Pete
  2. Looks very much like it to me. Former owner a forum member? Pete
  3. These are the figures I have in lbs. Not clear if this includes the tyres, probably doesn't. Pete
  4. I got some figures off a U.S forum and they are 3.6 kilos lighter per wheel than the standard wheels, still feel heavy when you lift them up though . Pete
  5. JetSet

    need this part

Hey Liam, did the front spoiler survive . Having mine fitted Monday I think. BTW, avoid those bumps in Blacon, that's where I took a lump out of Caroline's MR2 spoiler. In fact, just avoid Blacon Pete
  6. That seems to be the way Zed batteries go. Mine started fine last winter every time then suddenly after a week standing... completely dead, wouldn't jump start, not even a glimmer from the dashboard. I've had to replace dozens of batteries over the years but never seen one go from O.K to complete fail in a week. Pete
  7. Can't make out if it has a stubby or there's just a hole there . Doesn't have Rays either but that wouldn't put me off. Full Service History could mean anything, I'd check that's its had at least 4 services, 5 would be better, ask the dealer to throw in a service in any case, looks a nice car though. Pete
  8. Not too keen on the Autotrader one, could be bad photos but the paintwork looks dull. On top of that its 2 grand cheaper than the year older Sunset one on the same page. Some of that will be down to mileage and colour, but not 2 grand Pete
  9. Yeah, it's right. I thought there may be a way to adjust them without resorting to covers but apparently not. Pete
  10. Yes, it's a very popular mod. Perfect fit as far as I know. Here's a great photo of Shire's Zed. that he posted recently. Pete
  11. Very true, cold air is denser so drag on the car increases, also fuel burns faster as there's more oxygen. Tyres have greater rolling resistance when cold. Yep, 7% sounds right, will be even higher at say -10 Pete
  12. When you get to my age its a LOT more exciting than a new woman Welcome . Pete
  13. Some further info....Only 5 engines per driver for 2013, down to 4 for 2014 . Gearboxes will now have to last 5 races instead of 4. HD coverage from 2011 very likely Pete
  14. Engine specs for 2013 confirmed. Team orders allowed for 2011 with caveats. A quick round up of regulation changes here. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsp ... 275796.stm Pete
  15. O.K Thanks for all your help. I've PM'd Lee, just waiting for him to get back. Good to know there are other options Pete
  16. I know this is a long shot, but does anyone have a couple of the push pull rivets that hold the tonneau cover in place. I found it lying on the boot floor and it looks to me as though the garage that fitted my rear spoiler have forced it off and broken the some of the lugs off so it will no longer stay in place. I've PM'd Alex and he reckons that Nissan only supply the entire cover and not the rivets. I need 2 of female type as in the first picture. EDIT....If not, can anyone suggest an alternative way of fitting it without resorting to Super Glue ? Thanks Pete
  17. Indeed, just spotted a full set for £800 or so including legal tyres. Pete
  18. Hmm, seen a couple I like. MY55 ZED for £940 is worth considering. Then there's the interesting PB 51ZED, similar price but with my initials . Pete
  19. I tell you what, just imagine if it'd been at night and you tried to drive it Pete
  20. Interesting, I've never had one unless you count the single digit numbers I had on my Triumph Spitfire (KDM 2K) and (YLG 2W) on a Fiat X1/9. I've been trying to find one of my old cars, any of them actually that will have surely gone to the breakers yard eons ago but I've drawn a blank. If anyone knows of a good search engine, then let me know. Anyway, what happens to plates when a car is scrapped, do the log books go back to The DVLA or are they just taken out of circulation? Pete
  21. it will also be the higher tax bracket so 450 a year in road tax It's a lot to pay for the hump in the bonnet and cup holders in the door. the 300bhp model also has these extra's it was the facelift model in 06 that had them originally I'm pretty sure the bulge was first seen on the 07 models. Anyway, we paid 17.9k in October for an 08 GT Roadster in GM with 7k on the clock. We got 14.1k for the 2.0 Z4 that we traded in. Pete
