  1. If it already hasn't been mentioned you need a warning triangle and First Aid kit. On odd occasions French roundabouts will prioritise incoming traffic rather than traffic already on the roundabout. I saw a couple like that in small towns. Enjoy your break and take lots of photos Pete
  2. I think there are 4 bolts holding the Nismo spoiler in place. 2 of them match up to the OEM spoiler, the other 2 will need filling. Pete
  3. You can make that 74, as Caroline will be going in her Roadster Her user name is 350ZCaroline Pete Are we going in convoy Pete? Hopefully, yes . We can possibly gather everybody from The North West, Midlands, Wales and The South, if we can all agree on a time and place Pete
  4. Probably this.... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Ring-Car-Cigarett ... 3390wt_905 Now I can charge up all my gadgets at the same time Pete

  6. Not for me either, front end looks out of shape, like its been warped , back end is far too intricate. Pete

    Two new tyres?

Yeah, had a similar bulge on my Clio but on the inside so although there was plenty of tread left it didn't escape the eye of The M.O.T tester. Changed the tyre right away as years ago I ignored a small bulge on my GT6 and it turned into ann egg size bulge a few weeks later. Pete
  9. Welcome to the forum . Roadsters are one group higher than Coupes...having said that, my wife pays about £540 to insure her roadster so 1k sounds very high to me. Unless you have a high risk postcode you should be able to reduce the quote by shopping around. Pete
  10. I think the new ones look good Pete
  11. +1, that's exactly how mine went, a 3.5 V6 needs a lot of power to turn the engine over. You can often struggle on for months with a smaller engine once the battery deteriorates but I found that once The Zed battery goes then it just won't hold enough charge. Pete
  12. Been driving for aeons and have gone down cavernous pot holes, hit boulders, rocks and all sorts of things without ever encountering this. No idea what I hit, it was certainly no bigger than a large stone. Pete
  13. Funny thing was it wasn't scary at all, the steering just became a bit heavy. Looking at the tyre it wasn't flat to to the ground like a normal puncture (pressure was still 4.0). I'm pretty sure its not a run flat tyre but it acted just like one . If nothing else, NanKang make bloody rigid tyre walls . I'll keep a close eye on it from now on, the tyre technician who looked at it said both the inner and outer walls were undamaged and the rims didn't have a mark on them. I did have a blowout in Colorado, 2007 and that was a real heart stopping moment, tyre just disintegrated . Pete
  14. Ah ha, yeah, I did feel a slight bump at the same time come to think about it. I guess that's it then, tyre has remained inflated since, thanks for the info . Pete
  15. Well, with it being such a nice day I dropped the roof on Caroline's roadster and made an excuse to nip down to the shops. On the way back, travelling at about 65 I heard a muffled bang and the steering turned really heavy. Stopped straight away and could see that the front drivers side tyre was completely flat. Took the wheel up to the local tyre fitter and after he had inflated it searched for punctures and thoroughly inspected the tyre wall the tyre stayed fully inflated. The valve is O.K and there's no sign of any damage to the wheel rim or tyre wall . It would seem that some reason the tyre deflated but doesn't have any sort of puncture or wheel damage . Very strange Pete
  16. Only 6 weeks to go , so much to do, so little time Pete
  17. Certainly not worth the 50mill he was a couple of years ago. Kinda feel a bit sorry for him really, to me it seems that something is troubling him, he was a shadow of himself at the World Cup so I couldn't put it down to falling out of love with Liverpool. I just don't get why he joined Chelsea at the time he did, they are still a very good team, but their best players are starting to show their age and will need replacing in the next 12-18 months. I wouldn't be that surprised if Torres was at another club in 12 months time I was actually hoping Chelski would win last night....the last and only time I supported United was at The European Cup Final in 1968 Pete

    My New Zed

Very nice . No idea about the headlining, maybe if you :pmr35lee: they'll be able to help. I'm not sure what the transmission wobble is all about, might be worth getting the wheels balanced though. Pete
  20. Good chance of a wet race this weekend http://news.bbc.co.uk/weather/forecast/153 Pete
