  1. Fly catcher possibly (No idea actually but I'd like to know as well) Pete
  2. Wow, Rosie's colour looks amazing in the sunlight Pete
  3. This is a V12 http://www.hondosackett.com/Fernando/wi ... ypeV12.jpg Different grille only and made from 71-75. Nice Porker That Carrera came out around 1973 and that looks to be one of the early cars . Pete
  4. Gave both The Zeds a darn good clean today, here's a few pics Pete
  5. You lot should consider yourself lucky , even affording a 100 bhp car when I was growing up was almost impossible and an E-Type Jag (considered to be a super car at the time) with very similar performance figures to the Zed cost about 5 times your average salary. The best I could manage in the 70's was a Triumph GT6, all of 96bhp and yeah that felt fast coming from a 64 bhp Triumph Spitfire Pete
  6. De Tomaso Pantera for me Pete
  7. It's the inconsistency that bugs me. The Zed has always passed first time but in 2010 I was issued an advisory that my brakes were 75% worn and at the same garage in 2011 no advisory, same guy did the test as well. I took it to a different garage for the 2012 MOT and once again no advisories . When I had a free safety check late last year at a Nissan dealers they said the brakes were 50% worn. Pete
  8. I can understand complete muppets posting videos of themselves breaking the law, but a doctor Pete
  9. I guess you haven't checked your tyre pressures in a while then Pete
  10. Yep, looking really good so far . There's only one thing that's nagging away and that's the level and length of adverts. I know the races will be uninterrupted but does that include safety car periods and what about qualifying? Pete
  11. It's the registration date, not the model. As it happened the facelifted version was available for delivery on April 1st 2006 so there were a number of pre facelifts that the dealers had left over which were registered after the cutoff date, somewhere around March 16th 2006 I think. FYI, An extremely small number of facelifts were registered before the cutoff too (press cars and Nissan publicity cars) and these lucky people pay the lower rate of tax. Pete
  12. Can you sell these parts separately? Pete
  13. Looks like he's lost control and hit a tree or a lamp post . From that I presume the owner survived thank goodness Pete

    Sat Nav CD

Welcome to the forums This has come up before and the verdict is that The CD version is hard to find. You can try a dealer to see if they have a spare one knocking about or you can contact one of the online companies that supplies the 350Z DVD version, good luck , To buy one from a Nissan dealer is £400+ I believe Pete
  15. Panels clearly don't fit properly and the home made looking rear wing cheapens the car. Shame as the Mantis isn't too bad really. The LM 500 just looks odd, it just doesn't flow in the way a sports car should, it looks like 3 different designs made into one car. If you think they're ugly, check out this baby Stunningly ugly, Bond Bugesque front end....and they actually sold a few of these Pete
  16. Never heard of it before but found this short piece about it. Pete
  17. They can pop out if its below freezing too. It was certainly below freezing here last night. Pete
