  1. Just looking at the list there is one Scottish mod, one Welsh mod and 6 English mods....taking into account the spread of The U.K's population it sounds fair to me Interesting idea though Pete
  2. As others have said outstanding finance isn't a problem, however the owner not mentioning it would be a no no in my book. Pete
  3. I'm going back a few years now, but a mate of mine had an Alfasud that was written off by a guy taking it for an accompanied test drive, went straight through a fence and into a field up on Flint mountain. As for my own experiences I don't think I've had that many test drives, when I drove The Zed I have now the salesman came with me...the first one I drove back in January 2006 was a Chilli Red demo Pete
  4. That seems to be the weak spot. Caroline's roadster also has a slight leak from there, I reseated all of the seals but water is still coming in , although it's just the odd drop now. I'm going to try the vaseline trick...when it stops raining Pete
  5. Wish I could say the same Pete
  6. Only the Polish E-Bay spoilers do that, you have to remove the OEM boot spoiler to fit anything else The Nismo one Zmanalex sells is a replica but is a very good one Pete
  7. Caroline keeps hers outside. It does suffer from a bit of pine tree debris and a bit of sap too but it washes off. We do tend to park it in the shade to stop the paint fading but take no other precautions. Pete
  8. Imagine if you'd just filled it up to the brim, your DTE would have been over 1,000 miles . The highest I've ever seen is 396 when I filled it up to the top a few weeks ago. Pete
  9. What you should look at is the overall mileage, over a longish period. I've had my Zed from new and the computer has never been reset other than when I changed the battery. After it settled down I've found that over 13,000 miles its averaged 27.0 and that includes a bit of every type of motoring. One thing of note though is that I rarely go above 4k revs and always stick very closely to the speed limits. Caroline's roadster which we bought in 2010 is averaging a measly 21.2 over 5,000 miles but her trip to work and back is in heavy traffic...I think she uses more revs than me as well Pete
  10. Almost certainly, that's one of the reasons I've not sold my LP's , I only download stuff that I already have, many of my records are 30+ years old and a bit crackly these days. Pete
  11. I watched the both of the GP2 races and this happened several times, if you have a tarmac run off then its bound to happen. Pete
  12. My entire music collection is on vinyl, I stopped buying music in the early 90's when the music scene moved away from rock thus I don't have any CD's to retire. Pete
  13. Don't know what these things weigh, but just remember that most U.S airlines have a 50lb/23kg weight limit per case, there a $100 penalty for exceeding this even if only by 1lb. We always borrow a set of scales from the hotel on our last day to balance out our bags as its no good having 30lb in one bag and 51lb in the other. I got hit with a $50 penalty a few years ago for going 4lb over the limit. Pete
  14. United must still be the favourites and if they can avoid defeat to City then they should wrap it up. If City do win that game though it'll be down to which team can keep their nerve. Pete
  15. I don't drive it every day as I'm retired, I also have a runabout, currently loaned out to my daughter. Pete
  16. They should stick to doing what they do best. Pete
  17. Agreed, I don't really like the smooth look but that spoiler was Pete
  18. The roadster version of The 350Z was something as an afterthought, unlike The 370Z which was designed to be both a roadster and a coupe. Anyway, they look great with the roof down but just a little awkward with it up. Nice cars to drive with the hood up though, they just feel a little cosier than the coupe. They also seem to hold their price a bit better. Pete

    A car

Mine's a 2006, reg'd Jan 1st, (but garaged until Feb 2007) and has just passed the 13k mark and has had just 2 services, the last one a P3 at 10k. I consider it to be a waste of money to have it serviced every year if like me you only do 2k a year...but then again I won't have the problem of selling mine on Pete
  20. Congrats on the new addition to your family . Pete
  21. That's a garage to be avoided.... Welcome to the forum BTW. Pete
  22. Full Nismo body kit....very nice . Mileage shouldn't be a problem, there's a few on here with 100k plus. Pete

    Spoilers?

Yes, just fits over the existing spoiler, makes life a lot easier as removing the OEM spoiler requires a doctorate in surgery . Pete
