    Black rays?

Nah, the number plate thread was 4 or 5 years old . Anyway, I'm not keen on black wheels unless the car is black and even then Silver wheels look better. Pete
  2. Well, there should be 176 but just remember that these figures are taken from The DVLA which does not cover Northern Ireland who have their own agency The DVLNI. There's also a possibility of GT4's being sold in some of the offshore Islands (Jersey, Guensey , IOM) which won't show up on The DVLA site. Outside chance of a small number being taken over the border into The Republic of Ireland or even into Continental Europe as well. Pete
  3. There's a wealth of information at this site, with figures going back to before WW2. https://www.gov.uk/government/statistical-data-sets/veh01-vehicles-registered-for-the-first-time Pete
  4. The Motor trade issues figures each month as do individual manufacturers but getting data from even a couple of years ago is difficult. Pete
  5. Well, that's fairly typical of the poor standards set by many U.K drivers. For a start, the truck driver was not leaving enough space between himself and the vehicle in front. There should be a 2 seconds gap, I doubt that that gap was even a second. Sadly something like 90% of drivers don't leave enough space. The truck driver could easily have slowed down a tad to let the other driver tuck in but TBH he probably wasn't expecting such a stupid move. As for the civic driver, what a wally.....you should never attempt to undertake while you're filtering in, just back off and be patient. A good driver would realise that trucks have blind spots and also the Civic crossed the chevrons because he'd run out of space. Pete
  6. Quite . I went along to give blood once but was refused as I had diptheria as a child . Pete
  7. One of the few gadgets I've actually used. I set it at 4k for the first 1,000 miles when I was running her in then upped it to 5k and left it there. Pete
  8. The running gear should last 200k easily but as with all cars age will be the biggest factor, I very much doubt that a well maintained car doing 3k a year will ever see 200k . Pete
  9. Considering I live in the middle of nowhere I'm lucky to have two 24 hour Shell garage within 2 miles of me. There's a 24 hour Texaco one about 3 miles away too. I don't bother with ASDA as there's always a 5 or 6 deep queue at every pump. Pete

    Bum Clench...

You can be pretty sure that it'll be what it says on the tin. All garages are checked unannounced by Her Majestys Inspectorate and frequently too. A sample of fuel will be taken and analysed at one of the government labs. Pete

    LaFerrari

Other than the ridiculous sticky out mirrors it's beautiful. Pete
  12. I used a multi purpose white grease I got from Halfords. Pete
  13. I would grease all of the joints before you hit the panic button. Ours did the same the first time we opened it back in 2012 and after a good greasing it closed properly. Pete
  14. The Wales meet in May is the biggest meet in the country. Relatively speaking it's just around the corner from you. Details below. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/65468-wales-2013-discussion-list-starts-on-page-1extra-rooms-added/ Pete
  15. I went to White Hart Lane once. We scored in the first minute...then hung on for grim death in the remaining 89 . F.A Cup replay in the early 70's. Nice ground and to be fair a decent set of supporters. Pete
  16. Right in the middle of the road. Like this . It's great when you have a private lane. Pete
  17. What you say and what you do are probably different things but yeah, I'd definitely keep both the Zed's and buy a couple of sensible cars. Pete
  18. Were the police involved? (Police Camera Action?) Not really, Just a news crew filming the scene of a fatal accident sadly. Pete
  19. That's a great spot and I can't see it being beaten but back in the days before I joined the forum I spotted me driving my Zed on the BBC Wales News. Pete
  20. +1, You need at least 4 or 5 miles to get rid of it and the longer it stands the worse it gets. Pete
