  1. Do any traders sell these? Needed ASAP to fit new wheels. Pete
  2. Prefer not to use it really, roads are always too busy around here. Great for cruising on the interstates in Arizona though! Pete
  3. Well, it''ll be where it should have been now ......on the back of a trailer . Pete
  4. I've got some very interesting wheels to fit on Caroline's roadster over the weekend . I've also got a set to fit on mine that I bought from a forum member, just awaiting some bolts from RareRims. Pete
  5. Welcome, but we need some pics Pete
  6. Nice wheels , definitely doesn't need spacers though Pete
  7. Yeah, sounds like a squirrel but they're not usually active at night. Funnily enough I spotted a Rat in our garden a few days ago, found a dead one about 30 years ago, but this is the first live one I've seen. I'm guessing that this elongated spell of cold weather is forcing them to take desperate steps. Pete
  8. Yes, the key here is 2 officers. I got pulled for speeding on my scooter in Rhyl (well I'd actually stopped at the time) by an officer in uniform but in his own car. He just gave me a good telling off. They may run a vehicle check and be on the lookout for you in future but you should be O.K. Pete
  9. Ian, the most you can fit without having longer wheelstuds is 3mm, otherwise you don't get enough turns on the wheelnuts. 10mms will work as long as you get hubcentrics though. Looking forward to future developments . Pete
  10. Nice set of wheels Ian. What size are they? Pete
  11. Mine arrived early this morning. Fits like a glove, even Caroline was impressed with the workmanship that's gone into making these . Pete
  12. Service intervals for The Zed in The States are every 3 months or every 3,750 miles . Just looking at the schedule oil needs changing at every service... Pete
  13. Fitted my Vertical Tonneau this morning (Thanks Ian). In all the years I have had cars I have never seen mine so dirty, absolutely caked in salt, mud and tiny bits of conifer tree. Couldn't stand it any longer so gave it a basic clean (about an hour). When Caroline arrived home from work, car also caked in crud, I gave that a quick wash too, even quicker actually . Pete
  14. How odd, when I changed my battery a few years ago I didn't have to enter a code, it just worked . Pete
  15. French Headlights do look a bit different. Pete
  16. I'm sure that there are several on here who've imported cars from The U.K into Europe. There was a recent thread with a picture of an Azure U.K Zed, still on U.K plates parked next to a Lambo in Sweden, I've also read that several Zed's have been brought over to various parts of Europe from The States as well. Indicator setup might just involve changing a bulb...or it could be dealer waffle. Pete
  17. The problem with synthetic oils is that the various ingredients settle out in the sump in a relatively short time. I would recommend that any car that's been standing for as little as 4 months on your drive or in a garage forecourt should have an oil change. Water absorption isn't that a big a deal if the car is just standing, it'll absorb about 10 times as much when you start it up on a cold day. Pete

    Autogrip tyres

18 inch was standard, I believe you could order 19 inch LMGT4's as an (expensive) option. About the tyres, My wheels came with some no name budget tyres and after reading some of the tyre comments on here I was absolutely petrified of them when I first went out, especially as it was raining. I crept along at about 40 for 3 miles, didn't dare touch the throttle in case I went spinning out. Well, here I am some 2 years later with the same tyres and I haven't found a single ditch or even had a slide but then again I'm a very careful driver and with my limited ability wouldn't notice any difference even if I had £600 tyres per corner. However, if you're pushing the limits then get them changed for something better. Pete
  19. Welcome to the forum . Nice car, The Nismo Kit looks especially good on an Azure. Pete
  20. For a Subaru it looks quite nice. Pete
  21. You should be able to tax it at a Post Office tomorrow. Pete
