  1. Assuming you have a tablet or smart phone with bluetooth: Torque Pro app [in all stores] and: http://www.plxdevices.com/category-s/195.htm connected to both my Z`s, vokswagens etc without issue. Costs a lot more than cheap Chinese ebay S*@t but actually works. Up to you if its worth it

    help!

Valve stem seals, blue smoke on startup, worse when cold. Under acceleration, piston ring bypass Fouling plugs, piston rings, valve stems or massively overfueling. Smell fuel when changing oil? [bore wash, piston ring damage, dead engine] Cheapest option Is probably to get good 2nd hand engine. Find someone you trust to change it. If you want to know whats wrong you need a compression test to check piston ring seal, if thats ok a leakdown test will check valve seal etc [disclaimer : This is an internet diagnosis and is not worth the web page its written on]
  3. cheers all, I got the rays. Are all models fitted with LSD. Or was the GTs better?
  4. I owned a GT 350z before, having sold that a few years ago. I eventually bought a Non GT 350z as I didn't want the leather or stereo, planning to make it as light as possible without spending silly money. If anyone knows, could you list all the differences a GT car has performance wise. I will be looking at second hand OEM upgrades/parts. Thanks
  5. I`ve also been so so about getting one, all it does is trick the ecu. Does it affect the driveabilty of the car that much? Not a fan of electronic throttles so any improvement would be nice
  6. Lol, deploy airbrake!! Rocket bunny style would be fine.
  7. Rocket bunny sort of but want it more vertical if possible. Stillen is way out of price range, thinking more cheap knockoff that needs hours of work to fit Should I be asking tarmac for this or will you be offended? Lol
  8. Hi all at tarmac, Looking for a ducktail spoiler for my 350z. Do keep these in stock. Pictures if possible. Thanks
  9. I love the aero catches half way up the bonnet, can`t see the posts mounted in engine bay though? each to their own I guess.
  10. Spot on cheers. That's what I was worried about. Seams pull apart, water ingress, , rust repair. I`ll have a good look when I take it apart. Far more helpful than google, thanks!
  11. Cheers, Silvia suspension was easy these Z`s are a little more complicated, each arm has two different names. [Compression Bananas. Lol] I understand the eccentric nut/bolt setup but want to remove that and replace the entire arm as springs aren't there anymore. So adjustable Toe Arms Does anyone make a pre formed plate? Seam Welding? Thanks
  12. Just scored some coilovers. As I understand an adjustable toe arm will delete the spring bucket, do these come with bolts or do I need a delete kit as well? Can I just bolt rear coilovers in or is it wise to strengthen strut top mounting point? I do love a picture and any guidance greatly appreciated.
  13. Let me know postage costs bud, funds waiting

  20. After my third cheap, chinese, Ebay OBD comm device failed I got a little fed up. I have read others also have no end of trouble with these. Just want to post up what I now have. It does cost alot more than the Ebay tat but after 2 months and just under 20 connects it hasn`t let me down. [url="http://www.plxdevices.com/Kiwi-2-OBD2-OBDII-Wireless-Diagnostic-Scanner-s/124.htm"]http://www.plxdevices.com/Kiwi-2-OBD2-OBDII-Wireless-Diagnostic-Scanner-s/124.htm[/url] I have the Kiwi 2 [bluetooth for android] Took a few days to arrive and I was lucky with customs duty. Connects to my Samsung Tablet and phone without problems, I`m running it with the Torque OBD Pro App. Shameless plug I know but if your want a reliable device this is it.
