  1. I wanted another set of wheels for the Z and went for 18" Gtr rotas 8.5" front 9.5" rear, rears were deep dish for something just a little bit different. Decided on Tarmac whose no nonsense approach to doing business on our site appealed to me. A big thumbs up to tarmac nice and slick and next day delivery by Interlink, spot on. Quick photos taken on the day due to wheels not being fitted till the weather picks up (summer wheels) photos later when fitted. Once again a pleasure doing business with Tarmac and highly recommended Cheers Jeff
  2. Ricey that was as long as "war and peace book" you must have been up all night. I quite like the one last year "why on my speedo dial is the line next to the 30mph the only line thats in red????" Dohhhhhh.

    GTR Rotas

Hope you good folks can give me a bit of advice. Looking to buy a set of 18" GTR rotas, 8.5" front and 9.5" rear, am I right in assuming that an offset of ET 25 will not cause any fitting problems? I have read all the other posts and the more I read the less I understand, I assume this offset will move the wheels slightly outwards? Thanks for any comments and info on this. Cheers Jeff

  8. Hi Will do, needed these after all the mods that have been done, especially that remap, thank god the wife doesn't read this site, . Happy new year Steve. Jeff
  9. A very happy new year to all.
  10. Through financial caution to the wind because my spirit is weak and bought a set of Eibach anti roll bars, front and rears. The deal with CS was super slick and was completed in ten minutes, £375 in total, yes £375!! carriage fees waved as an extra Xmas bonus for me. What can I say, an absolute pleasure doing busines with them. Happy new year boys. Jeff.
  11. No kerbing, thats the main problem, Megs products are fine (clearly not the metal polish).
  12. T cut is definitely a no no Bronzees comments are correct and if it fails try using a DA machine if you have access to one and know how to use it. Combine that with mequiars ultimate compound. Most people use swirl X etc but they are not really up to the job, however you can use the ultimate compound by hand, just a bit more muscle power required.
  13. Have a look at this if you haven't already, check out the last entry as well. viewtopic.php?f=59&t=36291&hilit=bleeding+brake+lines I think you have found your problem as per your previous reply "Pads were a straight swap however I think I took too long on the brake lines as a lot of fluid was lost and the master cylinder went dry!" You can bleed the brakes with 900ml of fluid if done correctly, I think you will find that another bleeding is needed, if you dried out. Cheers Jeff
  14. Take it to your local exhaust man that you trust, they'll give you a quote for nothing. Its not worth the hassle if you cant get it up to work under.
  15. You'll need to be a bit more precise in what you did and what you fitted and how? You did fit braids while you were at it?
  16. Welcome and you have RS tuning on your doorstep you lucky guy.
  17. Happy Birthday, you can come back into Lincoln now the Xmas markets packed up. Jeff
  18. Marmite job, every one has their own personal opinion, I'm an Olympus fan you can get a reasonable starter dslr for under £300 in the "E-range". Certainly wouldn't pay £500 plus to find out you don't like it.
  19. Put a cross in the middle of the Sahara desert stating do not park here and rest assured, some pillock will.
  20. Welcome from sunny Lincoln, worked on the trawlers a long time ago,
  21. Went in Monday received back in post Friday, did what it said on the tin.
  22. Hi Paul great work on the car, but I'm interested in your photos, what camera and settings did you use? Well done mate.
  23. Yep a good day at meguiars and for those that never got to this one you lost out big time, next time go for it, well worth the nothing costs. Thanks to Tim for organising this event, well done and nice to see all the friends from mainly the midlands area but we should push some boundaries on this. I have to own up to the smallest convoy leader around the jct 26 M1 petrol station area before I got my bearings. I blame it on the sun in my eyes confusing me.
