Best way is to look at a good detailing site, cleanyourcar.co.uk is a good one or meguiars.co.uk these will show you how and what to do.
Meguiars does freebie detailng instruction now and again at their home depot we did one last year very good stuff. Also let people know where your from on your site someone near might volunteer to help you out and give you a hand. Hope that helps.
Cheers
Jeff
Travel regularly back to Kinghorn Fife, you'll go pass that way to St Andrews. I always take the A68 about 10 miles or so after Scotch Corner on the A1. Lovely scenic route through the lowlands of Scotland approaching from Carter Bar the border of Scotland and England.
First thing I did was to respray my wiper arms when I bought mine but they were well and truly stuck on the spline I had to borrow a small puller.
The problem in trying to prize it of is that the surrounding area is basically plastic and it would easily split under the slighest pressure, these small pullers prevent that.
No problems with these, the car was sold with such a device but for some reason people sell these before they move the car on?
Some of the newer windows based mobiles have problems paring but I found the easiest thing was to go on a meet and ask if you could borrow one for a minute and check out everything works. Job done.
Megs are now doing a water free product called "ultimate wash and wax" I would like to hear from someone who has used these type of products for over 6 months before I would look at them.

I've nicked this from a detailing site but as you will see its an argumnentable subject. Generally a car that is well prepared polished and waxed really doesnt need a glaze but others believe it adds a deep lustre and shine. You pays your money and you take your choice.
Before I post this I see you've had a reply thats correct this will give you a bit more of an insight.
Cheers Jeff
That's a heck of a recipe for a sponge cake, I thought it was just eggs, butter, flour and milk? At mine we just threw the pennies at the bairns to get rid of them
