  1. Cant argue with this for Alex is the man, but find a good local mechanic first to have a look if you dont think you can do it yourself. Hey guys any one in or near Lancaster that can give him a hand, garage etc.
  2. Not quite getting this, when you say you left the car in the garage over night with the "handbrake down" are you saying the handbrake was not on and that the brakes had stuck on by themselves? I agree with the comment about not using the handbrake and leaving in gear, a bit perplexed about the brakes still locking though, if you are using the hand brake I can understand they could stick but as said they are seperate to your disc brakes. £700 they didnt half screw you, do not go back to them again, yes make an official complaint. If you stick your location on maybe a member on here could either advise you on a decent garage or pop round and have a look at it. let us know what happens.
  3. Good videos Sam, if I can be nosey how much did you gain from having the Vortech fitted (0-60 and BHP)? I'm thinking of fitting one next year when I get a few pennies coming to me. Cheers Jeff

  6. Sorry to hear about this Steve, hopefully your seller will man up and do the right thing
  7. Wouldn't give it garage room, perfect example of decals gone wrong.
  8. Hi and remember a few pics if you find one.
  9. Look at berks hi-flo cats and the plenum personally though for big increases I have started to think its probably better to save a few pennies and go for a super charged system, F1 (Vortech etc). You pays your money and you take your choice, the remap is compulsory on most of these mods if you want the best BHP out of them. Happy hunting.
  10. Depends on your location but a full detail on the body wiil run about £150 depending on many variants of condition etc.
  11. happy birthday and have a good one
  12. Hope you were not confused by mine, no controversial comments at all.
  13. Some on on here said that his previous car was a TT that was poised, precise and drove like a ballerina. His next car he got was the Z and instantly snapped it up because it "drove like a thug and mugged you." Dont really care if its masculine or not but being old fashioned I still refer to my cars in a feminine way, "she".
  14. Nope try again, you managed to get a plane in the way
  15. I doubt any one wants to try it now.
  16. Yep you've started a new war, didn't last long.
  17. At last a convert to the new world.
  18. Welcome take a camera and a few pics will be good if you buy her.
  19. Have a good search I know there are some dealers on here that sell them.
  20. Could say warm with a pulse, because my other half does not read this . Seriously though the fashion industry has a lot to answer for with these anorexic models they use, they set a bad example to the young ladies. I quite like the curvy ones with a bit of meat on them, Nigella Lawson fits the bill. I found as I aged I got more attracted to this shape must be a getting old thing, lastly a good sense of humour can make overweight ladies look slimmer, if you see what I mean, or a beer or two, yes the latter was a bad male joke. There you are two bears I guess you could get a vote on this to see the percentages?
