  1. There you go Buff Daddy £94.95 free postage and free pads x 3. You'll need to check the specs and details first, click on the linky. http://www.carnaubawaxshop.co.uk/detail ... ee-pad-kit
  2. Just dont see it for normal driving that 90% of us do, if it makes any appreciable difference. Yes Ive read up on it and whilst I understand the plus points for racing and airlines thats a long way from me going down to the fish and chip shop very friday night. I checked these out when fitting a new set of wheels and it didnt add up to me for what we drive our cars for, and the lads at the garage didnt do it either. Never had a rusty allow interior on the alloys (oxydisation) either and I've driven them for over 40years.
  3. I'm assuming that was one of the non genuine keys without any remote functions? Correct, they will only do a manual key and in Lincoln they wanted £70 and as i said earlier they refused to cut my blank key. I wonder why, they even said my key was not a correct duplicate that was bull###t. Got my local car key man who miraculously cut a key that Timpsons said wasnt correct and couldnt work. Hey ho must have been a miracle.
  4. Hi mate got one of ebay and took it to the "car key man" in lincoln so if your struggling to get it cut, like timpsons who refuse to cut them. I suggest you give these a try Ive just received a £5 discount voucher your welcome to have. I know they travel all over Lincolnshire but I assume they put the travelling costs on top, anyway see how you get on.
  5. What part of "search is your friend" do you not understand?
  6. Need more info really, is it permanently on or flashing if its permanently lit generally its considered not a serious fault if its flashing, more serious needs to be dealt with quickly.Count the flashing for the code number if its doing this, or in this site there is a list of fellow members who have a code reader who I am sure will be happy to check out the issue with the light. Search is your friend , "OBDII Code Readers national locations". One of the main problems that crops up alot is if you have fitted hi flo cats they tend to burn lean and the o2 sensors pick this up. A simple check with the reader can reset this issue. I see rtbiscuit has just beaten me on this subject but it should help.
  7. Probably went for a pint after all that, still thought that "is the azure faster than the others", is quite good.
  8. Hey only in Britain, we the house holders who use only 8% of the water daily are penalised, the water companies who supply this are loosing 3.36 billion, yes billion, gallons of water every day through leaks for a product that they don't own but give us a service of supplying that product, that they dont even manufacture. Clearly thats fair . However I have no doubt that along with the MP's their highly paid executives are running around in there nicely polished chauffer driven cars, because they dont have to clean them, rather than get their cars dirty Well back to the subject using a two bucket method I can confirm that it took more water out of my watering can than using the sheeting method from the hosepipe for the final rinse and drying. The tap was on for over ten minute to fill up the watering cans where it would be less than two minutes to use the hosepipe. Bloody obvious thats common sense, oh and by the way keep your umbrella handy in the car so you dont get sunburned by all this rain we are getting. I think I'll start digging a bore hole perfectly legal to do so and maybe I'll sell it cheaper than these bloody idiots because I wont loose billions of gallons every day. Right back to Jeremy Kyle for some sanity.
  9. For the first time try a track taster day, yesterday at cadwell park it was £25 for a couple of hours instruction and track. I think you will find they all do this type of event. From that, you can as already stated go for full days that are more intensive with personal training.
  10. Oops sorry Winkj, my eyesight is getting worse must stop drinking during the jeremy kyle show.
  11. Get a garage to do a compression test to see if it is engine wear first.
  12. Well its certainly "marmite" but it does draw your attention.
  13. You'll find that if you are using the sill jacking point its not uncommon for a small mod to be made by yourself. Take a small piece of wood 1/2" inch thick, cut to fit snug on top of your jack or stand and saw a slot down it about 1/8" deep to fit on the sill point. Otherwise you are still able to use the main garage jacking points as in the schematic that you have probably seen earlier.

    MOLYSLIP

Yes but normally done with new gear box oil.
  15. We can also lock it or delete it. It is better to use PM's when sorting stuff like this out. Save us having to moderate. Then you would be sitting there with your moderating buttons gathering dust, how bad would I feel if I didn't enable you to use them? Anyway, I get the message. Rarerims, if you could just PM me to confirm. Thanks You have left your manners in the bottom drawer perhaps you should have a look for them or try a bit of your user name.

    A good watch

The "neesan zee" only an american can pronounce an I as an E.
  17. If your taking half an hour before the air con kicks in then you do have a problem, take it to an air con specialist mate, they are at least the least expensive guys in the market. Probably needs re-charging.
  18. Air con in all my cars does not come on straight away after starting the engine until it has warmed up to normal running temperature. Are you saying that you expect the aircon to work straight away after starting your engine? It relies on your engine to gain its running temp to be able to adjust hot to colder mainly with freon gas or a similar gas. Overall aircon takes the heat away to make your air cooler than the cars running temperature. I find that mine takes about a couple of minutes to gain some heat that can be conditioned.
