A warm There are 4 or 5 Z's around Glasgow on auto trader may be worth looking at these at least if anything goes wrong you don't have a 300 mile trip to resolve any issues. -
Sounds quite likely you need to get your key recoded, expensive if done by Nissan but a good independent key company with appropriate coding equipment will be much cheaper. Keys are a bit hit and miss, what works for one doesn't for another, changing batteries should be done In under 30 seconds yet many don't have any problems if it takes 5 minutes etc etc.

Had berks fitted for 3 years now,first of all you will probably need a remap because the engine will run lean and throw up 02 sensor issues. Never had an issue with the mot test they are designed to legally get a pass in California with the strictest emission laws in the northern hemisphere.

Received dampers ultra quick with the colour coded warning stickers for my azure blue, must of read my mind. Will post photos later if we get a dry day for fitting. Many thanks to Ian pleasure to do business with.

I think you've hit the nail on the head when I was thinking of those cats and remapping I was advised on here to have a remap after the cat fitting. Clearly they affect performance, and to get the best a remap after fitting was advised.
