IIRC there was a tech note from Nissan where you could get a disable key switch installed, fairly sure it's on here somewhere. Don't think anyone was successful getting it done though.

As raid 0 is striping you won't be able to swap a single disk, maybe you should consider upgrading the NAS at the same time as they're fairly cheap these days. At least then you can use the old NAS as a backup to your raid 0 solution as if you lose 1 disk you'll lose the data on both. Another alternative would be a 4GB+ USB hdd and then sell it afterwards. On a side note, if you often remove large files (movies etc) I'd strongly suggest switching to ext4 while you're at it.

Sounds like it might have a motordyne XYZ pipe with HFC? I never had a problem with MOTs when I ran that but as above it must be hot. Could be worth giving abbey a call to discuss the car, maybe even booking it in for an MOT there if you're close.

The black/white combo might be ugly, but £3.1k for any fully HPI clear Z is a bargain let alone a fully HPI clear one with only 62k miles. The seller runs a wrap & tint business, ask him to re-wrap the black bits and you could have a good deal... interested to see what it sells for in the end.

Actually that's pretty much all the officer could do as you can't actually get arrested for civil trespass, the trespasser does have to leave if asked by the landowner, the landowner may use reasonable force to remove them if they resist and they may sue the trespasser if damage to property occurs. In most trespassing cases the police won't even attend unless they believe another crime is likely to be committed. There is a list of places that would be deemed as criminal trespass though (The queen's house, MOD sites, that kinda thing).

I want to take mine to 500, but Mark@Abbey is uncomfortable going that far on an unbuilt engine... guess I'll be saving for that then.
