  1. Never did the last one, but there's still time! Lucky! I seem to get road rash all the time and pretty much refurb my wheels once a year! I guess the pot holes in Surbiton are worse than where you are.
  2. I don't like ragging my 313 it in 1st and generally change to second pretty early and never have this problem, I can pretty much pull away in 2nd if I really wanted to.
  3. What, you mean she has to wear a blue dress, earings, watch, shoes and handbag whenever she goes out with you in the car?
  4. It's now on their web site, at £10 + £4 delivery! The other website above was cheaper after all that!
  5. That was only on one of the engines, 2.? TD I think, I believe the 3.0 TD didn't suffer that problem from what I recall. I'd still prefer a land cruiser though.
  6. Wash your mouth out with oil young man!! At a very first fleeting glance I thought it was an MR2, the roof and rear quarters look similar (maybe if you cross you eyes).
  7. Just had an insurance quote on it of £600!!!!! Second car so no NCB to use on it. Burble or not, I think price would still matter to me... GLWTS tho That money would be far better spent modifying the Z.
  8. Cool thanks! Does anyone want some Dodo menthol glass stuff for free at the next meet? It works but seems to need about 4 applications to get rid of a little water spot. I'm really selling there right?
  9. Take it it's not this stuff? - http://www.autobrite...host-rider.html Nope, that's a sealant rather than a cleaner. It's definitely the PAIN stuff, it just doesn't appear to be on sale anywhere. I've e-mailed Autobrite and posted on their FB page.
  10. Great, that link charges £4 delivery on a £8.99 product, sod that but it's the only place I can find it!
  11. Did anyone else get the Autobrite Hell shine glass cleaner probably about 3 boxes ago? And can anyone actually find out where to buy the god damn stuff? I haven't found a glass cleaner I prefer but I can't even find it for sale on the Autobrite direct website! I just bought some Dodo Menthol stuff and find it pretty useless in comparison. EDIT: HMMmmm... I think it might be this PAIN stuff which isn't even on the autobrite site: http://www.autocleanz.co.uk/index.php?route=product/product&path=124&product_id=333
  12. 30 minutes for £39 with other drivers who haven't done track days before? I think I'd prefer to pay for an open pit lane day where I'll get better value for money and probably be less likely to have someone drive in to me! I reckon Bedford is a pretty good track for first timers, nice long track so the cars are pretty spaced out and plenty of run off - having said that accidents can happen anywhere just like the Ginger Z that hit the pit wall last year.
  13. Ummm isn't there a 100 post limit before you can sell cars on here?
  14. I didn't ask for one when I had my 350th post... but then there's no red ones so I'm still not interested.
  15. It works for me... unless I'm searching for a three letter word...
  16. I almost feel to send him that link and ask if he'll take 5k.. Try it! You'll easily make £10k profit when you sell it on...
  17. Try sticking cruise control on at 50mph, think I managed about 37mpg doing that! Remember to reset the trip comp once you've got cruise on to make sure it just reads that section of the journey!
  18. OH... and anyone got a spare tent, sleeping bag, cooler box, beer etc?
  19. Something I have found out is that we're on Q2 and Q3 (over on the right) of Ebisu: Seems too close to the trade area for my Wallet's liking!
  20. How do we book our place and do we need to purchase a ticket? If so where/who from?? Also, something I didn't know about JAE: "JAE began as a meeting of Datsun Z club members as far back as 1991 and with the growing interest in Japanese cars as both classics and modern super cars since that time, it has grown to the largest gathering of Japanese vehicles of all types in Europe and continues to grow steadily without forgetting its roots." Considering that we should make more of an effort to attend!! EDIT: OH, we just have to buy a weekend pass right? And can probably do this on the day? EDIT2: I hope edit 1 is correct as I just ordered my ticket...
  21. How far away is the sprayer? Could they pick it up for you?
  22. Well a Nissan 370Z Nismo is £37k over here, if you imported the Stingray from the States it would be £42k + shipping and shipping insurance... not much in it really.
  23. Where'd you buy it from in the end and how much?
