Did you ask at the counter in your local Tesco's super market? When I went they had none on the shelves but plenty behind the counter. You would have thought they'd at least put a sign up saying this, I saw at least 3 guys walk up to the games section and then leave the store empty handed.

No need to post a photo of the engine really, Terence, this is a HR engine: Note the 2 air filter housings at the front leading in to the plenum on both sides of the engine and the dipstick right at the front. If yours only has the filter leading in to the plenum on the right side and your dipstick is a RPITA to get to then it's not a HR. Also the engine cover is different on the HR to the prior engines.

I haven't tried Tim's Iron Awe stuff yet, but if it's like the Iron Max stuff then it's excellent as an alloy cleaner as well, although it does make your disks look "rusty" until you give use the brakes next.

I use these and so far 1 has lasted me about 15 washes (i.e: 60 tyres) and still seems like new, albeit a bit blacker than new:

I think at events like this the spectators assume there will be marhsalls etc who are far more experienced at dealing with this kind of thing. Untrained people trying to help are more likely to be a hinderance, although if there was no marshalls reacting I'd probably jump in after about 30 seconds.

I finished it yesterday, apart from me missing making a ton of money through the franklin/lester missions I don't see much point in me restarting, you can replay the missions anyway and there's still loads of stuff for me to do (boring collect the parts/stunt jump crap though).

PS3 or XBox? Mine seemed to take forever to load first time on the PS3, like 30 minutes or so!!

Send him a PM in case he doesn't see the reply... that's why we have the smiley... well that and the fact that he has just about everything in stock and good to go same/next day so we use that smiley a lot.

There are a few things I've been looking for which you might think would be compatible from DE to HR but aren't, engine strut bar, engine bay dress up bolts. They're just small things but can be a PITA to find for a HR.

Perhaps he rounded down and missed remembered a Zero from when he read it? 7825/7 = 1118 which is about 1000 rounding down...

I left my car with a garage for 6 weeks and when I got it back there was a bird crap mark in the clear coat which wouldn't budge with hand polishing. It came out with DA and Menzerna polish though. I have to say using a DA is a lot less scary than I thought it would be and it helps remove marks like this.

Mines still sitting under my desk at work! Gotta remember to take it home today and give this stuff a go.
