  1. To be honest, if the school hasn't prepared for it, bought the correct glasses or arranged a pin hole camera setup and not informed the kids of the dangers they're probably right not to let them out. However, if a school passes up the opportunity to teach the kids during a solar eclipse I'd probably want my kids going to a different school!
  2. Well the Wales team are realistic about their chances: Wales centre Jonathan Davies said: "I'm sure we'll find a trophy somewhere, like a plastic cup or something." I'm suprised most of the pundits are going for England to win, I would've thought Ireland beating Scotland by 5 points more than England beat France would be a better bet. I guess the England game being last so they'll know what you need to do thing is working to their favour with the pundits, it could go either way though if Ireland or Wales win by a big margin England may play too much rugby or try too hard.
  3. I was on a beach in Dubai for the '99 eclipse... so today I stayed in bed.
  4. £10.5k? Is that all HR roadsters are worth now? Why did I look.
  5. If Ethel needs a good home I'd gladly offer her one. I have a lovely minture house in my Kitchen, it's very sturdyily made out of steel, has central heating and even has a clock built in!
  6. Install a Chicken Cam on Ethel, I'm sure GoPro do a Chicken mount, they have them for just about everything.
  7. I think the Crota's End DLC was one of the major **** takes recently, 3 missions you can complete quickly, and a raid that can be solo'd in less than an hour... for £25 quid!?! I won't be buying the next one.
  8. Yep I saw that, the whole handling of it has been bad if you ask me. If you're going to drop someone like Jones for the Six Nations at least meet with him first and explain that you will most likely want him on the World Cup squad but need the Six Nations to expand the strength in depth or something, anything, to keep him happy until then. His handling of it wasn't much better though and came across a bit toys out of pram, understandably he would've been upset though. BTW, have you seen the world rankings after the weekend? NZ, RSA, Ire, Eng, Wal, Oz, Fra I can't recall the last time 3 home nations were in the top 5... hopefully it's a sign of how the gap between North and South is closing.
  9. I'd love to play the heists, but I refuse to pay the price for a full game when I've already bought and completed it on the PS3. £55! Really? To replay a game I've already completed but with heists and a first person view? The gaming community in general seems to be getting shafted from every angle recently, from that, through expensive DLCs which contain next to nothing, to buggy games that really should never have left QA and never get patched. The gaming industry really needs some form of regulation or at least find some respect for their own products.
  10. Well my earlier prediction is still possible, I think the Wal v Eng & Wal v Ire have been my only real suprises for me so far, I guess the "Wales taking a while to get in to a championship" thing is getting more reliable each year. Looking forward to next weekend, it will certainly be an interesting Saturyday, I really hope Wales thump Italy in the first game to give Ireland and England something to think about, then Ireland to do the same ready for a really exciting England v France points decider. I get the feeling the Trophy is going to be in a car half way down the M4 for most of the day! I'm really not looking forward to Sunday morning though!
  11. The pay is in donuts!! That's awesome for an apprenticeship, Well, it would be if you and Buster don't eat them first.
  12. True, but when it gets to the point where you could gain a 75-100% payrise by switching jobs you've really got to love your job to stick around!
  13. Awesome, now I'm waiting for your new build thread where you build a whole Z... component by component on a lathe!
  14. Probably this, they're not allowed to pull you over for no reason, they must have a suspicion of unlawful activity. The were probably pulling you to see if they could "smell alcohol" or something and then when they realised you were clean they let you go.
  15. Well I just got my awesome 0% payrise and my worse than usual ~10% bonus... now I'm looking forward to a job interview in 45 minutes.
  16. I was quite lucky when I found mine. A fairly local Hyundai garage took one in as a part-ex for a i10! The guy that owned it was an old guy who was a friend of the garage and was finding performance cars to much for his age. 1 owner, ~15k miles, apparently they had to pay him money for the deal.
  17. I heard it was an Irish lighthouse... and it changed it's course.
  18. Does anyone else get confused by the "HPI CLEAR (REPORT CAN BE PROVIDED UPON SALE)" comments on cars for sale? If I'm going to get conned, how hard would it be to fake a HPI report? For the sake of a few quid I'll do it myself thanks (or get my brother to do it for free).
  19. See post 18 Vlad started first time. Edwin Great, will give it a go this weekend.
  20. Hass anyone tried this on a Z yet? I leant mine to a friend who's BMW 540 had a dead battery and it couldn't start it, then it is a 4.4L. After trying that I noticed the manual actually says "up to 3L" but I haven't tried it on the Z yet.
  21. England more likely Well you beat us a few weeks ago. The again Oz have lost to Eng, Ire & Fra recently so who knows... maybe it will be them that get knocked out.
  22. Well if you lot fancy going to some games, keep an eye on the for sale section shortly after Wales get knocked out of the group stage.
  23. It's a bit dissapointing really, they could've at least given us Oz at home so there was one big match in Cardiff for the Welsh fans.
  24. Well you're not meant to use blue roll!
  25. I'm not really a bike person and would have no idea where to start restoring one, but for the last week I've been watching this: http://www.ebay.co.u...cvip=true&rt=nc Unfortunately at £3360 I decided against it considering the cost of restoration. Shame, they look lovely both rusty and restored:
