For a 54 plate and ignoring consumables (tyres, brake pads/discs etc) which you'll eventually replace anyway and can upgrade when needed:
Plenum Spacer
Velocity Stack
Decats/HFCs
Cat back exhaust
Uprev
Brakes
Suspension
Styling/body kit
Forced induction
Obviously not all at once... but it's a good order to work through. For £1650 you could probably do the top 5, then work through stopping/handling/styling.
So you plug a capacitor in to your lighter socket and you save on fuel?!? Do people seriously fall for that? Car manufacturers spend millions on economy/emissions (even lying about it in VWs case)... you'd think if a capacitor would make a difference it would be in the car already!
That's pretty much the point of fitting the kit to my car first. I have my car for fun and only do about 1-2k miles per year and hardly any miles in winter, so if they need my car for a couple of months as a guinea pig to get the kit adjusted/modified then that's fine with me... although I would've liked a bigger discount. :stir:
Ah, this interference with our RHD steering column was quite expected. Thus, Torqen most probably need to now redesign the RHD exh/Manifold to clear the column. Full steam ahead
I thought AAM had already tried to modify and provided their first attempt based on random guesswork without actually seeing a RHD... although I could be completely wrong on that front.
I just received this photo and I don't think that's a part they can remove to fit the turbo... now awaiting feedback from AAM:
Yes... but can't afford it at present, I'll see how I get on with the max the standard internals can take and maybe go for more power later on.
On the previous Zombies I actually found the higher levels easier than the beginning... something to do with the speed of the zombies and the fact they're all fast later on makes them easier to bunch up.
Source?
It's what they teach on drink driving awareness courses, albeit with the 40 (or 45?) minutes addition before you start processing the alcohol. Having said that, it's based on the average healthy person, so even then it can differ.
Quite liked them... went to the manufacturer's web site for specs... no weight... gone off them. Why don't manufacturers put the full bloody specs on their websites?
Have you priced up lowering springs+fitting vs coilovers+fitting? Coilovers aren't that expensive and will perform much better than OEM + lowering springs. If you're thinking of doing it in future there's little point in paying the fitting twice if you know what I mean.
I've managed a couple of games, haven't made it past about wave 12 so far though... can't find the time to get online now that I'm living with the other half!
From what I remember, it takes a healthy person ~45 minutes to start processing alcohol and then will process 1 unit per hour. So after a pint of strong lager would take about 3 hours to be near zero alcohol level. However it's all dependent on gender, body mass etc so the best bet is not to drive at all after drinking.
This is the battery I have, the dimensions are on the page: http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/c/Nissan_350Z_3.5_2008/p/car-parts/car-electrics-and-car-lighting/electrical/car-battery/?444770057&1&226a00ae1d7997a61702bd839cff4cf296efe685&000020
Hi Mark,
Not that it matters to me if they don't do a HR version, but how does the OEM+ECUTEK traction control compare against aftermarket TC like the Racelogic stuff?
Thanks,
Haydn.
This isn't any use in terms of changing the alarm, but if you do you might (or might not) have an issue with insurance, you may want to create a dummy quote on gocompare or similar with and without the aftermarket alarm and see what it says. If there's a big jump you may want to reconsider before going in to the techie side.
I still love my drippers but the Mrs gets annoyed with me topping up all the time so I've just bought a squonker:

Pretty good price for an atty and box if you ask me... I'll let you know how it goes as it only arrived today.
