  1. I believe it's 8am-noon, doubt I can dust my car off after winter, get it washed and drive down in time - about to go out for a few so might not be fit to drive that early tomorrow anyway.
  2. Pigs will fly before I buy one of these, oh wait they have a flying pig as well... and it has light up wings!
  3. Like the BRE tribute 370Z they created?
  4. How about TVR Spectraflair Silver?
  5. The till weighs the goods when you put them in the bag, any discrepancy and it pauses the system and awaits help from the staff.
  6. I don't like either enough to warrant the cost of a respray.
  7. Good man! People should have to get a license to ride the tube, things like this and standing on the right on the escalators should be on the test for it.
  8. Not all lines... some have an Eastbound and Westbound line.
  9. Still seems far too cheap, hopefully the prices will pick up again during summer.
  10. Yep - but shortest on the train isn't the same as shortest on the train+walking between them.
  11. The suggested routes are wrong, the best way is Victoria line to Oxford Circus and then Bakerloo line to Waterloo - Victoria line & Bakerloo line platforms are opposite so there's no walk involved for the change. Even the posters on the route suggest this way so god knows why the journey planners haven't been updated! Trust me - I used to do that journey everyday in rush hour and tried EVERY route.
  12. You must have a bad memory Martin if you need a sat nav to go everywhere!
  13. You would have thought they'd try and build the show car properly, check out the alignment of the door in photo 15 in the OP.
  14. OK - I've found a Westie with a 4.8L V8 producing about 500BHP per tonne... and it's only a few miles away from where my dad lives - I'll get him to go down for a test drive. It's a rover engine with TVR bits so may be fairly expensive on the maintenance side though. They also have an Austin Healey 3000 replica with a 5.7 litre Chevrolet V8 which could be cool!
  15. Just as well they didn't have any of the Marmite XO choclate bars then. I'll grab some of the Marmite truffles next time I'm there - they're only flavoured with Marmite so much milder and taste amazing!
  16. You could also hand a tennis ball from the ceiling on a piece of string - when your windscreen touches the tennis ball you know you're the right distance in... doesn't help with opening the door though.
  17. I reckon a Caterham would be great for me at 11 stone, my dad's almost twice my size though so I would've thought something with more power would suit him better... Maybe a hayabusa westie perhaps. ;P Haydn.
  18. Hi All, My father's recently retired from far too many years in the motor industry so is obviously a bit of a petrol head and is currently looking to get a cheap-ish track car, it might be nice for it to be road legal but that's not a necessity. Sadly the Tommy Kaira R34 Skyline he was looking at got sold before he could get it... maybe that was a little heavy for pure track use anyway. He's currently looking at a Caterham which seems fairly tidy - looks more like a road play thing than a track car to me (still fun though I bet): http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2532998.htm Thanks for the suggestions, Haydn.
  19. My whole flat is a man room! I especially love my wall mounted Anthony Gallo Micro Ti speakers (can't have a man room without a bit of titanium): Not sure if the sofa's should be counted when talking about a man room, but love mine also: And yes - both images are nicked from the internet not of my actual flat.
  20. £12.5k for a 57 plate roadster!?!?!?!? Please say that it's not a 313 HR and has a @*!# load of miles??
