  1. I agree, there's always been some pretty nippy nippons about which have been fantastic value for the performance/spec you receive, these days it's quite depressing what's around.
  2. Scratch that (post removed)
  3. I think "data processor" works out quite cheaply for IT people... although surely anyone that thinks at work fits that description??
  4. I'd quite like a Cat E introduced which simply says the car has had a repair paid for by the insurance company but wasn't a write off, yes most cars would probably be Cat E but it would help to find a perfect example and may lower premiums a bit with people paying for their own minor accidents instead of making their car a Cat E.
  5. It's a competition, if you guess the price, you get it Speaking of prices, my brother's a sales manager for Nissan and called the other day to mention how much 370s have dropped in price over the last month, think he mentioned 28k for a new fully spec'd roadster and that's probably before the friends and family discount... I just wish he'd stop trying to sell me cars!
  6. Would a HR engine fit an older rev? Would probably need a new bonnet at least but it's the way I'd go if it was possible: viewtopic.php?f=157&t=48371
  7. Well it's insurance time again so I thought I'd try the club discounts, Sky wanted £100 more than the usual suspects on the comparison websites and mentioned that they require 2 years NCB not 1 as stated on here (although they did still give me a quote ), Chris Knott wanted about double the price... oh well, back to swapping between Elephant and Admiral each year I guess. For reference, I'm 34 living in SW London/Surrey with 1 year NCB and no accidents/convictions. Why can't we get a forum discount with Elephant/Admiral??
  8. Since when has a NZD been worth more than GBP? More like 1.5m Pom. Oops yes, you're quite correct. Not like I could afford either amount mind.

  10. I like that, you probably should have posted in "the cars I like but shouldn't" thread though! Not sure about the seat colour... seems a little pink in the last photo.
  11. I thought that was just reflections in the paint work when I first glanced at it... now I realise that it is the paintwork...
  12. Someone posted a thread about the auction the other day (yesterday?)...
  13. There's hundreds of posts covering both of these that can be found using the search box up the top right, I find it easier to click advanced search before search to view threads rather than posts.
  14. Same for supermodels that are eyeing you up To be honest, if nobodies going to find out about it I'll pull the munters as well.
  15. Should be 3 keys I believe. So someone somewhere has a key to my car Probably... but they can't get in your glove box!
  16. Apart from the post directly above that 1?
  17. If you're talking about skydiving, I'd say pull every time...
  18. Mines fine, what age was the sat nav you tried? Mine's an 07 and there are only a few roads it tries to send me down which have changed to 1 way since then - you can always update the DVD to fix that stuff. If it had postcodes it would be a great system imho.
  19. Just tested - FF still works fine.
  20. http://www.clearcorners.com/products/nissan/z33/r_sig/ I can't see a price on their?

    Sat Nav

I quite like mine and I can put up with no postcodes although it is a bit of a draw back at times. If you do decide to upgrade I'd return it to standard when you sell them as the "fully loaded" Zs seem to ask a higher price than those without - probably due to people like you and me who didn't realise it had no postcodes before we bought it. Also, as the prices on autotrader are generally higher for cars with Sat Nav it gives you a bit more arguing power with your insurance company if the worst ever happens!

  23. I reckon that's because us humans can read the road ahead and change gear before we need the loud pedal down, a bog standard auto has to wait for the loud pedal to go down before knowing you want to change gear.
  24. I might have to find that and read it again.
