  1. Ooo I like this I couldn't have any car with that name (check the spanish translation) Babelfish won't translate it for me. Anyway, what about a landcruiser?
  2. This site's useful to see how much people have paid for the flats in question and make sure you're not paying too much: http://www.houseprices.co.uk/
  3. How cool is this! Do you think there would be problems claiming from insurance if you used it though?
  4. That did actually make me laugh out loud when I saw that as well!
  5. I used Windows for the first time this morning, I usually use Linux but needed to flash my laptop's BIOS to install a new wireless card* and HP don't create tools to do that in Linux, well they do but you need a Windows PC to create the bootable USB key which defeats the purpose. I thought I'd install the drivers for the new card in Windows while I was there, the damn install crashed half way through and after a reboot I got the "registry missing or corrupt" message... and Vista** doesn't have a recovery console... thanks MS! I'll stick with Linux thanks. Haydn. *For those techies out there, I had to flash my BIOS with a hacked BIOS to remove the hardware whitelist that HP code in to their BIOS preventing you from doing any useful upgrades! God I hate that! **I know Vista sucks, but it came with the laptop and I don't really use it so who cares.
  6. Tim @ Envy recommended 6 weeks to me when I had mine done, but I guess that's going full at it with a machine so you could probably get away with waiting a little less depending what you're doing.
  7. I'm gussing your work block photobucket. Try going to this url and see whether it says blocked: http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f245/ ... CF0693.jpg
  8. Interesting to see all that body work and leaving it on standard Rays.

    Insurance Rant

But surely if you hadn't claimed and moved to a different company at the end of that years insurance they wouldn't have known and you wouldn't have had to declare it?
  10. I wouldn't like to call it, even the TMO wouldn't have had a great view - I reckon the best person to call it was the assistant ref under that post, who said no... interesting that Steyn thought it went over from roughly the same position though. You can't really blame Hook or Priestland's kicking for the loss though, I'd prefer to blame Hook for not pushing Steyn in to touch on that first try if I had to blame something, I doubt he would have scored that if Gareth Thomas was still playing full back. Still, I said before the game that I'd be happy with a loss as long as Wales turned up and showed improvement, which they did, I just hope they keep improving as the tournament progresses. I was interested to see how much ball the forwards were given today, it seemed a bit boring compared to the usual Welsh running play, still if we can play like that up front I'm sure we'll see that used as a base for some nice back play in the next few games - it should be good to watch as long as we don't fall over to Fiji, I bet they're loving the fact we're in their group again.
  11. Well assuming we don't **** up the group games against Fiji and Samoa I'm happy with that game, we should keep improving through the world cup with the Southern hemisphere guys hopefully tiring a bit following the tri-nations. Although we now probably have the Ozzies in the quarters... but Eng or Fra in the semis if we get there. Still frustrating not winning that when we were the better team for so much of the match - there seems to be a reoccurring theme against RSA.
  12. Hi Guys, For some reason the vimeo tags don't work if you include the "www". Not too much of an issue but it's a bit strange. Haydn.
  13. I'm hoping for a good game... as long as Wales actually turn up I could handle a loss at this stage - as long as we don't **** up against Fiji or something as well!
  14. Nah, I'm talking about being committed to stupidly low lines for longer than just going over stuff for a split second, stuff like this, about 2:45 onwards is especially committed, if something goes wrong there are no outs with lines like this: Although this is 1 of my favourite videos, not as mental but the views are amazing (sorry, wmv file!): http://www.allezbase.com/videos/Ready_To_Go.wmv Haydn. EDIT: Fixed the vimeo link - apparently it doesn't like the "www"
  15. I want to get in to proxy flying eventually, doubt I'll ever get there, I've put skydiving on hold until I get off shifts already... who knows, hopefully I'll get there someday. The BFL is worth a read if you want some idea of the risks. BTW, there's much better proxy videos around.
  16. That's too black for me, if it had silver alloys and lost the spoiler I'd like it more, like the Nismo 1's we've seen here a million times: viewtopic.php?f=26&t=41779
  17. I doubt this is the issue and I wouldn't try it on the Z for fear of frying something, I just thought I'd share. On the Mk2 MR2 there was a known issue where the power steering would go heavy due to a dodgy connection, turning the ignition on (electrics only) and off repeatedly in quick succession would fix the issue... weird!
  18. I reckon you should have a better scale for reviewing, something along the lines an inverse scale of gravy jugs needed to be able to eat the pies, i.e: 1 jug is good, 5 jugs is rubbish.
  19. I just got back from the Fringe on Weds, wish I could tell you lot what the acts get up to after their gigs but hey...
  20. In terms of OS it's not the best. The iPad is currently the sexiest hardware around but there's better spec'd Android HW, that's due to the fact that there's loads of manufacturers using the same Android OS so all they have to compete with each other on is the HW. Personally I love WebOS, I love the style of the Apple products, I'm not too keen on Android but I appreciate how open the OS is but that may change with future updates to each platform... I think the fact you say you're a big apple fan give away your bias a little. Tethering your pad *to your* phone is the correct way of saying using the phones 3G on the pad, not that it matters as we understand what each other means... just did a google and it looks like you can do this these days with 3rd party apps on iPad/iPhone anyway.
  21. I don't think so, still no easy way to switch between apps, no true multitasking, no "just type" or "synergy", completely locked down, crappy (non existent) notifications, couldn't tether to your phone last time I checked, sms etc from your iPhone don't automatically show up on the iPad... looks like iOS 5 may fix a few of those issues though but it's still lacking a lot of features as Apple want to save some for the next pad in 12 months otherwise people won't upgrade!
  22. I bought 1 of these which does the job during the winter when the car sits around waiting for the snow to melt! Little bit pricey though: http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stor ... yId_165629
  23. Little late to the party there mate, I saw this reduction happen in the US over the weekend and didn't think anymore of it then heard they dropped the price here by the time I got wind of it they had sold out everywhere! I would have definitely grabbed one at £69 (what they were going for through HP) it would only be a matter of time before it's programmed to run Android and you technically have a great bit of kit for dirt cheap, apparently cost them around £180 just to make the things. I'm not sure why anyone would want to install Droid over WebOS, it's awesome apart from the minor lack of apps. I was going to buy the Touchpad when the Pre3 got released but missed out... got a Pre3 on order at least! Hopefully I can pick up a cheap TP on ebay when everyone who bought 10 of them realises they can't sell them all!
