  1. Really? I didn't know the valet key limited the revs, I thought that was only available with a valet map through uprev?
  2. I think we should dress Tarmac in a teddy bear suit and ship hime around for a month as punishment.
  3. That filter looks like it's done more than 4000km, and why is the OP working in KM anyway? Also "my finance company took the car back so I took the turbo kit and mounted the original intake"... sounds a bit fishy to me.
  4. Maybe a Zedley skydiving weekend is in order?
  5. As a rugby fan, sadly I think this is a fair comment... take Wales for example, the salary cap they've bought in per club wouldn't even buy a single half decent football player. Still, I know which sports player's I have more respect for, probably for exactly the same reason.
  6. Naturally sponsored by the National Society for the Provention of Cruelty to Cats (Jags)!
  7. God that's cheap! Even if they need a full refurb it's a bargain, and that's without tyres (even though they have minimal tread on).
  8. Yep, he sent them... along with the GTSPEC group buy! (Sorry Chris, just joking!)
  9. That's how it was described to me. When I had my uprev, Mark described it as if the first three gears acted like a traditional throttle cable made out of elastic bands in gears 1-3, so when you put your foot down to 100% there's a delay before the butterfly gets to 100%. While it's nice to have the car do what you want and I personally love the response after the uprev, I can see the reasoning behind the original design and if it was my daily driver around London (for example) I think I'd prefer it the way it was. Luckily I'm not in that boat but I'd be interested to know if Mark can do the uprev tuning but leave the "smoothing" in gears 1-3 in place for people that drive in traffic a lot.
  10. I've been told that you only need to complete that section of the log book if you service the car away from Nissan, if you have FNSH then it's not needed as it would be covered by the usual service stamps.
  11. We once owned an imported MR2 Turbo and had to do some serious phoning around to get a reasonable quote. Caroline thinks she may have gone with Admiral in the end. Pete Admiral were fairly reasonable when I had my '2 Tubby.
  12. I can see a lot of unhappy Z drivers sitty in a hotel in Wales.
  13. I've thought that for years, I did some maths on it and the only complication would be that lorries drivers would be hammered and shops would go bankrupt if you did it as a literal increase on fuel duty. There'd need to be some sort of rebate for lorry drivers with fuel duty rising more than you'd expect to cover it. Still, considering I do about 2k miles a year (if that) I'd be happy.
  14. Hi Guys, Is there any room left on this with accomodation? Thanks, Haydn.
  15. Keep your old PC and install Linux, it'll seem like something from the future speed wise.
  16. I don't know, I've seen them in the flesh, but the height difference between the top of the door and the top of the boot just makes it look odd imho.
  17. I'm not too far away either and I've been meaning to do mine for ages, perhaps we should get a group of people together and 1 'expert' to help out if we get stuck?
  18. I always thought the 350z roadster looked awesome with the roof down but a bit like an after thought with it up, but it's grown on me since owning one, I guess you just get used to it. However I can't stand the 370Z roadster, something really wrong with the design of the rear quarter/wheel arches which even over the few years they've been around don't seem to have aged well at all.
  19. Complete toy, I do about 2k miles per year (if that) and only about 90 miles since November! I really should go out driving more.
  20. Suddenly I don't feel hungry: http://en.rocketnews24.com/2012/04/19/w ... ge-burger/
