Ouch, hope you get mended soon mate
Have you tried Megs metal polish on the staples yet?
-
Those are just wrongly advertised - 313's should be easy to spot, as they have the humpy bonnet and twin intakes.
Good Luck with the search
Cheers for the replies!
I did read that the 313 was only later models but got confused when looking on AutoTrader as there seem to be a few earlier one's with 300 or 313, i.e...... http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... ?logcode=p

I thought these might be imports though?
Anyway, will get myself on the search tool, cheers

I get between 15-20 in town.
Motorway 24-29. I used to get over 30mpg but lasted about a week before I realised what the Zed does after 3,000 rpm.
Technically the Zed is far from a daily driver unless you're prepared to foot the costs. But I live driving my car daily so put up with the cost.
To be honest it's money very well spent because every day I have a smile on my face rain or shine.
If I don't drive her for a week I get anxious to drive her again and as soon as you park your ass on the leather and start her up you feel like you're home again.
big +1 on this

Sounds like a plan - I could do with getting out of here, 'cos we've just started to pull our house apart for a full refurb
-
Glad you got her sorted Will
-
Sorry to hear about all of the trouble you're having, Will. I'd be throwing my toys out of the pram by now
At least now you're only missing the Southern UK monsoon season with your roadster
Hope you get to a good resolution soon.
-
Cheers Ian, and good luck with the business venture.
Also, I might be able to swing the use of a (rather cluttered) double garage for working on my car
-
Good work, Ian, the brochure looks great....now I just have to figure out how to get you down south to sort my Night Blue out

Get well soon, Dave, we're all thinking of you.
-
be careful trusting the traction control too much - its got a reputation for being a bit dim-witted in these cars.
-
I may be wrong, but I think the visible 'seal' is nothing more than a trim. I beleive the seal should be made by the adhesive bonding the screen in. The only proper fix would be to have the screen cut-out and fitted again.
Good luck.

was that for sale on Pistonheads recently?
-
Happy Birthday, Chris - I bet you can't believe they've even given you your own public holiday this year, and the concert last night was a nice touch, too
-
They can often be quite noisy, even when nothing's wrong, especially when they're thoroughly warm - are you sure its a problem?
-
Graham, my left rear looked like that after I got back from Wales due to a very dead wheel bearing with loads of play in
Its in at Westovers in Bournemouth today being replaced under warranty
-
These photos and vids are great - shows what a great weekend it was
Can we go again tomorrow?
Its really good to be able to put faces and names to forum names
-
I don't know who you mean, Graham
-
Will, you made it look so effortless keeping up in Rosie, and the black rose looks superb in the Welsh sun.
Bet you're going to miss her while she's in.

Ian, that couldn't be anbody else....
It was a truly great weekend - a real tribute to the efforts put in by all the people who helped to organise things. Thanks guys!
Hope to be there next year.
P.S. this is me:

.....has their car in bits the night before Wales 2012?
Got home from work tonight and noticed some strange goings on with my parking sensors as I backed into the drive. Thought nothing more of it, until I went to wash the car and saw some wiring hanging down by the exhaust...hmmmm
Checked the lights - no reverse lights.
Don't you just love dealer-fitted options??
Anyway, its now midnight on the night before the Wales trip, and I have no back bumber on my car and some of the wiring loom spread out on the garage floor
Fingers crossed it all goes back together in the morning and works!
I'm sure I'm not the only one in this boat....
-
Thanks for all the hard work, and just in time for Wales!
