  1. There will be plenty of pics and hopefully a bit of a video, just hope it fits! Changed from Privilege to Admiral multicar. Privilege wanted £570 and no mods. Admiral was £470 with the exhaust. It's worth bearing in mind, the policy said 'full exhaust system' so no problem changing any other exhaust bits if I want to. The best online quote for me by a mile.
  2. Went to pick up my HKS hi power ti zorst today from HKS, the box was huge! Not even sure it would have fitted in the car! Nathan asked who I've got fitting it, which I still didn't know and he's offered to fit it for me! Top bloke! Not something they normally do so I'm well chuffed. Only downside is it can't be done until the 1st week in Jan. Never mind, weather's cack anyway. Relieved they offered in case there are any fitment issues. They've been really helpful all through getting the exhaust so can't recommend them enough. Something to look forward to in the new year!
  3. Did you get a free Butte plug with these? Gay indeed!
  4. Mate at work has a blue one. He's done 100k in 3 years and other than the consumables, he's had no issues and it still looks pretty damn good. Never driven one myself but nice looking motor.
  5. Love the work you've done...fantastic. Especially like the wheels, thinking of something similar for mine. Not a fan of the rear diffuser, but each to their own. Overall top job!
  6. I'm lost for words! 'I want that one!' The most incredible driving vid I've ever seen....unless you know better!
  7. Welcome to the forum...pics? Sounds a top car!
  8. Definitely true. My mate was told by his insurance company that it would be an extra £30 on his premium for fitting winter tyres. He's not bothering and I don't blame him, a bloody disgrace.
  9. Sounds good and expensive! I've only limited knowledge, but the koi forums I've been on don't rate the multicyclones much. The only other thing I'd say is are you fitting a skimmer? I don't have one and I wish I did for leaves and general crud, and you can have extra filtration off it. I'm sure you've given this a lot of thought and had loads of advice already. Your build looks great and I'd love a pond that size. Will probably move in the next few years so going to stick with what I've got then the 'final build' and do it right as you've said. Keep the pics coming!
  10. I guess you've gone bottom drain, what filters are you going for? I'm pump fed to a bead..not the best setup but works ok.
  11. I've keep koi, have done for about 7 years now. Pond is 1800 gallons so a mere puddle compared to 7000 gallons! I'd love a viewing window. Fish range from about 12" to about 24", all cheapies I couldn't bring myself to pay hundreds for a fish to find it belly up or heron bait! Don't take a lot of looking after to be honest. Some people seem to have all sorts of problems which I don't seem to have had....yet. Other interests golf, xbox, drinking.
  12. Bought 12 + 2 months from pc world (halo reach pack) for £34.99 if anyones interested. Didn't seem bad value to me and no possibility of any problems. I'll just wait for them to cut me off before I use it!
  13. Nice one, I'll give it a try once they cut me off. Had it free since 21st Nov.
  14. Can anyone recommend a good place or site to purchase a 12 month membership for xbox live? Just cancelled my credit card details from xbox as it seems to be a lot cheaper elsewhere. I'm just concerned the sites selling the codes are genuine. If anyone can recommend somewhere I'd appreciate it. Cheers for your help Phil
  15. I've just moved from privilege to admiral multicar. Privilege wanted £100 more than admiral and don't allow performance mods. Not sure why, but on the comparison sites admiral came in at £600 but when I did it direct on their website it was £470. Might be worth a try?
  16. Got about half and inch of snow. The roads haven't been gritted and I managed to get about 20 yards up a very very slight incline before I gave up and shoved the car back in the garage. the 370 is cack in the snow...I don't remember my 350 being as bad??
  17. What's this like compared to say Forza or F1 2010? I bought the prologue which was ok. Is it worth buying?
  18. That looks the nuts! I like the colour contrast and it does look good with the tips. Cool mod.
  19. Thanks to Tim for organising this, I really enjoyed it and it confirmed I'm doing most things right with my car cleaning. The best bit was seeing the difference a DA makes on swirls and how it takes the strain out of polishing and waxing. I was a bit scared of using one but it's now firmly on my xmas list
  20. I get the same depending on the surface I'm on. We've got a block paved car park at work and it's particularly noticeable on that. A feature of the car I gues!
  21. Same on my car, even worse now it's freezing cold, I get a nice creaking noise when it opens!
  22. Depends on the deal you got, I've got 3 years RAC with mine.
  23. Brilliant write up, I've always fancied owning a Porsche and this has just confirmed it for me. Have to be a 911 though. 3 years time when I'm mortgage free............bring it on!
  24. Just drive the zed, I've had weekend cars and IMO it's a bit of a waste....unless you are minted! A lot of money to have sat in a garage meaning double depreciation and running costs. It's definitely 40p per mile for the first 10000 miles regardless of whether you get paid a car allowance ( I get the same) as your allowance will be paid as salary, so taxed. You will be able to claim tax relief on the 15p a mile difference on a P87 if you don't do a tax return. Enjoy the Z diesels suck!
  25. M3, I like the looks and it's a V8....simples!
