  1. Digsy's correct and full of insight as always: he has the knowledge - please ignore my comments D
  2. +1 all the way. But we still all did make that decision, why was that (?) .... I definitely don't have that answer
  3. run the car at a lower boost and your never have any problems. You lot worry to much, a well set up 400bhp S/C will last as long as stock car , but as long as it is built well and set up well, Nurrish was running to much boost full stop and I told him that. run a HKS kit, it is quiet, fits very well and makes good power @ a low boost level. This may well be true, but it misses the point. Take it from me, you never rest easy as a F/I owner with the Z. You'd shouldn't have to go from the thrill of a fast overtaking move to the "ears out" concern before you put it back in the garage Hey-ho, what do I know - well (and it has taken me 3+ years to admit it), I would still have the Z if I hadn't ****-balled about going F/I. Tw*t that I was.
  4. And out of the shadows comes the usual purveyor of doom and gloom I'll take that on the chin as it's probably deserved But the evidence is that unless you have specialist backup (Alex, Abbey etc) UK F/I owners do much less mileage and/or bail out quickly. I think that's because you are constantly listening to every little noise, checking your gauges and convincing yourself all is really OK. That removes a lot of the pleasure - well it did for me at least. You like your football, so I'll leave you a tap-in, perhaps it'd have been better if I had said nothing
  5. I'm sorry I lost my normal login - but it may not surprise to note (given recent postings) that there is absolutely no long-term joy to be had for supercharging (can't speak for turbocharging) the Z. There is the constant feeling that the end is nigh (and/or that your investment is toast) and from personal experience the feeling that when you sell, the problem is ended is nowt but a relief. Deep pockets required and £40k deep doesn't remove the feeling, I can assure you. The Z is a brilliant car at the price: N/A
