Does anybody with the connect premium have any problems when you use the usb port of the system.

When i have the ipod connected i get the message about once an hour to check usb memory. 95% of the time when i

unplug the usb and replug it in the problem is sorted. The other 5% i have to turn the ignition off.

Just wondering if anyone else has any problems with the usb? Never had any problems with the HDD

Do you know anything about the phillips ultrablue 6000k xenon bulbs ive seen them at £85 a bulb but cant seem to find any reviews on them

Thanks guys. Might go for the philips ones, not too bad at about £30 a pair. I guess that provided they are W5W they fit?

 

Do I go for the 6000k or the 4000k?

I think that the 6000k are illegal in europe not 100% but check before you buy

a big thank you to Darren for helping rescue the 370. 5 mins into the drive and I thought something had gone wrong big time.

Darren should have an idea about the 370 by now, well the brake lights at least he spent 2 hours looking at mine continuously on..................

maybe a bit of a misunderstanding going on here. The 40th is available in the Ebisu Black and in Quartz. The Ebisu Black however is also available on the regular cars but the Quartz isn't. Which is the only reason I was looking to get the quartz over black.

Yours is a 40th anniversary, we've just got the black colour as opposed to the quartz.

I understand now

Anyway the black looks better than the quartz but i might be a little biased

But i have to correct both of you, mine is an esibu black black edition 40th anniversary. its got the red suede/leather seats with 40th anniversary printed on them and the 40th anniversary badge on the rear as well as everything else that comes extra with the black edition 40th anniversary ........(hope i havent bought a snide)

I wanted a quartz but the only ones available were auto's when I was looking, so I went for Black. Although the only reason I really wanted quartz was cos it's only available on the 40th.

I am using the Megs G220 DA polisher on black edition 370. I use Poorboys black hole polish with the 3m blue finishing pad. I then use the dodo juice supernatural wax.

Am i using the correct pad for thepolish and is there a soft buffing pad for the removal of the wax? thanks

Does anyone else on here own a true Black 'Black Edition' or are they all Quartz, I feel like the odd one out Everytime someone says they're getting one they get a Quartz one.

Dont worry you are not alone Geoff ive got an original Black Black Edition. I think the Quartz must have been an after thought by Nissan otherwise they would have called it the Quartz Edition ....... wouldnt they?

After 5k miles of 370 ownership I have no regrets (other than lack of internal storage space) although I think you will find your mpg may turn out a little less than what you got with the 350 - but perhaps thats the downside of having the Stillen exhaust

For easy polishing go with the 3m perfect-it III range. Try Fast cut plus and finish off with Ultrafina.

Pads I'd go with an orange or yellow polishing pad for the fast cut plus and a blue high gloss pad for the ultrafina.

How would the pads attach to the pads attach to the G220 polisher? Do i need to buy backing plates?

Whats different with the orange or the yellow pads?

What size pads am i looking for is it just 7 inch ones that i can use on the G220. All i want at the minute is minimum cutting and a high polish. Clarkie did polished bliss send you the extras free or did you have to order them seperately?
