You could always get it shipped to me in jersey and pop over on the ferry and collect it, but you might still get rumbled getting it back home.

 

By the time you've added the 10% Jersey import tax and the costs (not to mention the crossing time), I'm not sure the 20% VAT saving would really be worth all the bother.

What do you think of your Akroprovic Chippy? It will cost me approx £400 more for the Akroprovic than the Stillen with the Gen 3s inc shipping and taxes. How much do you like yours and would you buy it again given the chance?

I do like the Stillen, I have heard Colins and it was nice..... but i do much prefer the look of the dark carbon fibre tips to the shinny tips of the Stillen, but ive never heard the Akroprovic in real life.

I have never been any good at making decisions But i suppose there are worse things to be decided out there

Hi, I am just wondering if anyone has an idea how much the final bill would be on importing car parts from the US.

I am looking at the Stillen exhaust which at the moment comes with the free Gen 3 air intakes. At the moment

with delivery to Manchester airport stands at more or less $2000 which equates to £1280, does anybody have a rough idea what the final total would likely be?

If its going to be a lot more i will more than likely go with the Akropronic which will give me a bit more time to get the money together, but the Stillen

sale ends Friday. Thanks in advance

them to email me with a price for shipping.

I would prefer the Akro, is there any chance you could pm a ball park figure how much one would cost me, because the Stillen sale ends at the end of the week

and if the Akro is too dear i will have to order this week even though i cant fit it till June due to More Thans policy of no performance mods.....

Just had a look on the Opie site, what is the dirrerance with sat 5w 50 and 10w 40 and so on, and which would you say is the best for the 370?

The car is coming up to 3000 miles and i want to change the oil, what oil would you advise me to put in?

Would you change the filter aswell, and also woulod you take it to the stealers or to a regular garage that

i know do do a good job.

The reset seems to have solved it. I reset both windows so hopefully that will be it,

As for touching the battery or anything its a no ive not touched anything.

I will try resetting them now

Just walked back from the shop (Didnt take the car due to the 8 inch of snow last night) As i got back i noticed the passenger window open 1 inch below the rubber seal of the door, on further inspection it was the same on the drivers door. When i tried to open and close them the drivers was ok but at first the passengers would only open and would not close. After about 10 mins it eventually closed.

Now though every time i open and close the passenger door the window opens about an inch more every time i do it (but doesnt go back up) until eventually the window is fully open. I have to close it with the drivers side window switch.

My real concern at the moment is why both windows were open in the first place, anybody any ideas ? thanks

Nice one Phil. Did you change insurance company? Im desperate to change my exhaust but i will probably have to wait till my policy runs out in June with More Than.

Hiya Iram i dont have any photos of it before i was that pi**ed off with it i didnt even want to look at it (never mind photo it). As for after i myself cant tell which part of the wheel was repaired which is always a good sign.

The actuall damage was about 5inch long along the top of the rim something similar to Clarkies and had a little of the white alloy coming through.

When i took the wheel in they told me to leave it a few days so that he could get a match and i think it was ready 48 hours later it cost £55
