  1. bloody hell, didnt even look at the links, federal and primewells on a 350z! Seriously? those tyres are just about suitable for a 1.0 micra
  2. the tyres you want on the front should be the same brand and design as whats on the rear, anything else is a big no no
  3. all depends on you budget. the bigger the budget the more choice
  4. either buy the steel internal drive nuts or buy a snap on slim walled socket.
  5. welcome to the crap world of Small Diameter nuts. lightweight alloy ones: Internal Drive Versions - Stay clear! crack extrremely easily! resulting in drilling it off! External Drive Verions - A little better, but still not ideal, and id always be a tad worried. Steel Ones: Internal Drive Versions - By far the best SD Nuts you can buy and also the cheapest! External Drive Versions -(like the ones you found on ebay) nuts are good, nothing wrong with those, but the removal keys are cack and dont last very long. Especially if you get a stubbron tight nut one day.

    A Days Cleaning

did you use blue velvet after your sealant? you only really need to use one or the other. wax acts as a sealant, you only need to use a sealant if you use a glaze first.
  7. deserved it, dont really care tbh they were just crap. buyt i just dont get how we can have so many young talented players, but they cant play together? As for 44 years, thats only 11 tournaments ago. look at wimbledon which is held every year. Last English Men's Singles: Frederick John Perry won the Men's Singles Championship in 1936. Last English Ladies Singles: Virginia Wade in 1977. Last English Mixed Doubles: Jeremy Bates and Jo Durie in 1987. The most recent being 23 years ago. thats 23 tounaments ago, not 11 that the world cup has been. look at the singles, 33 years ago and 74 years ago for the mens singles, 74 tournaments ago! English football only 11...

    Nismo Exhaust

as said, depends what you want, nismo seems to have an oem noise with an added bit witht he right foot planted, far to boring imo, but everyone to there own, if it were me, id be ripping that straight off my car, polishing the hell out of it, and flogging it on here for some stupidly high amount of money, buy a different exhaust, BC PS3 is a good one.. not that i'm bias and pocket the extra cash left over
  9. sod z caps, just buy anti theft ones and be done with it.
  10. rather different place to fit a catch tank. this a common place on the 350's?
  11. thanks guys, good to know it was a good purchase, would still like to pull the right hand exhaust over a tad more, but that is me being insanely picky, talking a mm or 2 max lol i shall try get a video of it soon, dont actually have a video camera, or a video phone, damn the iphone 3g. i should really get a newer one.
  12. i never thought of exhausts giving real power gains, but i can feel a difference. proberly just me imagining it. i only ever thought manifolds and cats were where the restrictions were. High flow cats please and yes it is loud, but i started to get used to the K1 so this seems quiet when driving, although when im stationary and rev it, it does sound loud
  13. Day 1 of 350z ownership - standard exhaust Day 10 of 350z ownership - Japspeed K1 - the ill fitting k1 with its short tips that make the cans sit in the bumper holes. although it was awesomely loud, the fit was shocking as you all know. apparently my bumper moulding being wrong... finally it has come back off, but in its place is... Day 24 of 350z ownership - a awesome Buddy Club Pro Spec III Y cat back. The quality is mega on this! those welds are perfect and fit, although a tad of adjustment needed, is good. twin exit exhausts, vain of my life! who says my bumper holes are wonky.. horrid K1 can vs Buddy Club (well k1 is okay, just the cans are too short as well as the mega short tips) installation, who needs a ramp! Was a bit upset at first about the quieter exhaust, but the k1 was just loud noise, didnt sound too nice, where as the buddy club is still loud, but what an exhaust note Any one else on here got one?
  14. there are 2 types of hammer on weights, steel and alloy specific, but i only ever use stick ons when fitting alloys
  15. i had a dent guy out couple of weeks ago to give my 350 the once over, as i bought it with couple of dents in, he found 6..... all gone and you could not ever tell where they were. apparently 350z rear quarters can be a tad tricky to access, he got to mine none the less and did a cracking job. http://www.northamptondentremoval.co.uk/
  16. toyota starlets are good cars, but you have to find a standard one as this car seems to be a bodgers paradise, seen so many with stupid things done to them which make them mega unreliable. cant beat a 1.3 turbo lol
  17. i take it there all out of stock now, i am currently on a simplicity plan (sim only)but was thinking of going contract and paying through the nose for the iphone 4 lol I want one... I have the 3g but its soooo slow! and im a gadget whore tbh. lol

    Camskills

if they couldnt fit your tyre it be getting myself out there very quickly, before they start trying stupid ideas to get it on. Id like to see them try fit a Conti SC3 265/25/22 on a rim. now that involves some skill
  20. the 'make' in the pic isnt branded as such, its like the wheel this thread is about, its not really there brand, it looks like they buy in from most likely the same supplier as we use at my place, and they just call it there own. Its like you starting up Digsy Motorsport, and importing one of your suppliers generic wheels and branding it as the digsy - evo 6 and charging a fortune for it. I know i know thats business, but profit margins tend to be 30 - 35% yet this guy looks like he could potentially trying 100% + profit. I keep telling my boss to import some in from the supplier, but jap isnt his market
  21. bloody hell thats one hell of a mark up on price. This blatently isnt there own wheel, they have to just import that, the supplier we use where i work make this exact wheel from there own moulds (in taiwan), we personally dont stock them but i can say they would cost me about £85 a wheel if i wanted a set for my car. we would sell that wheel to trade at proberly £110 + VAT so for him to put something over 100% profit margin on it is just crazy. This is me lining a front up against the rear of my car (just a display wheel, we have a rear too but that was up the warehouse) they look pretty damn similar if you ask me except the lack of dish being this was the 8.5" version
  22. Japex are in kings langley, thats not far away, i had the P2 service done on mine the other day, great prices, great work, and get a forum discount
  23. cars the same size, just a different engine. trust us. you will fit it insde your 350z
  24. being i'm fairly new here, (some are proberly fed up of me already ) Just thought id see what you guys do for work and how you afford your expensive 350z habbits. And the 350z own drinking habbit? Or infact all the other mentally nice cars on here. Im sure its been done before, but i thought id start a new one. (never know people may have changed jobs) I'll start, i work 2 jobs. Job 1: Working as a CAD Technician for a Renewable Energy Company in Kings Langley. I previously worked as an architectural technician but stopped that due to being made redundant. So if anyone needs some drawings doing for your house, i'm your guy lol Job 2: After Job 1 i go to what used to be my old gap fill job, working at a alloy wheel place called SixOneTwo, they sell mainly to trade, Have 2 of there own brands of wheels, Cades and the Range Rover Brand Hawke. But i work through them doing another companies work in the evenings, That company is called Alloy Wheels Direct and deal solely with Genuine Mercedes, BMW, Brabus wheels. I am awaiting a set of wheels that will beat my previous most expensive set of wheels ive fitted, that was about £9000 a set, this next set is a set of Brabus Monoblock's 3 piece's for a Mclaren SLR coming in direct from Brabus and being collected buy the owners own people. They are costing the guy £19125 plus tyres! and i have to fit them... So what do you guys do?
