  1. it has the size in the thread. 245/45/ZR18 Y96
  2. ideally 1 clay bar = 1 car, once. But i find if the car you just clayed is fairly contaminent free i will use the clay bar again for another car or 1/2 car etc (but only if im about to machine polish it)
  3. lance with brush attachment, big no no. only things that should touch the paintwork are a lambswool washmitt and microfibre cloths
  4. Hmmm... Good MPG, Good looks and goes well. Id have to say: can do you test, get your gear and a bike for less than one of those cars above. Dont get me wrong, i'm a car guy through and through, but the lure of bikes is there. Cars just cant match the £ - performance that bikes can.
  5. keep it green, love that colour!
  6. Good guide other than that Only other thing id add is, WARNING: make sure the section of paintwork you are working on it lubricated at all times to avoid marring the paintwork. Clay is basically a bar or clay (obviously) with tons of abbrasives added. So there are different abbrasiveness levels. Mild - Aggressive. If using for the first time, I'd reccommend using a very mild clay, as if you go with a very aggresive clay you will generally require finishing polish afterwards (via machine) to refine your paintwork.
  7. 2 ways, use a polishing compound or clay? dont you mean clay then polish. If you put a polish pad to an unprep'd surface, all your going to do is inflict alot more than you correct. All it will do is pull up the contaminents, tar, fallout etc onto the pad, meaning you will pull the particles around the paintworks surface.
  8. yep i noticed it the other day too, i also got confused.
  9. didnt realise texaco has super unleaded fuel, i omly ever see normal so dont bother... the rip off's that they are!
  10. a decent wax?? meguires dont seem to be capable of making a good wax imo, im a big fan of hard waxes. can never have too many micro fibres, costco's the way too go for that. ez detail wheel brush. clay as previously said Megsuires pro range Last Touch just buy it. best thing i have. grit guards. a degresser. leather cleaner and conditioner? leather permitting. and next jump... a machine polisher, with tons of pads. tons of polishes, decent backing pad, 500w lighting, and a crap load of patience. I think my biggest single buying session resulting in around £450 - 500 but i did used to detail alot of other peoples cars.
  11. hot, sunny and chilled out and that way you can just forget about all the crap going on over here
  12. all well and good being the bigger man. i agree its a good thing to do. but you cant come across weak and scared. As its family like this, it could happen again, if not worse being the man's an ex con. Best bet, sell up, and move to sunny Spain where no one knows you are .... take the zed too
  13. its a real tough one, you dont want to caus ebig agro but dont want to be bending over and taking it... Id say key that f**kers car! then if he comes round to you, you can say he came here and started on me when he's laying on the floor k.o on a serious note, i guess witht he family and all that you cant go mental, id go round have a word, say look if it was you, then leave it out, luckily its not an issue, but if it happens again.... if he blatenty lies to you, key the f**kers car and knock him out get the on going theme
  14. thats a pretty good price. works out similar price to costco. although there its the full 4.5L bottle for about £20 either way good spot
  15. i feel extremely fat and unhealthy reading about all this mental exercise. maybe i should start exercising a bit more (ok start at all) ...sod it too the fridge!! ...oh nothing there... to the shops! what to get? hmmm... Home i go! Sit down and enjoy..
  16. £370 for a P2? i paid £189 at Japex the other week for a P2 with the additions of gearbox and diff oil
  17. i am running 040's on the front and avon zz2's on the rear (what previous owner put on) and i am scared to go into a corner with any thing that resembles pace. The t/c kicks in like mad. i dont care what anyone says, mixing tyres on these cars aint good, maybe worse on the more drastic tyre differences front and rear, like mine. maybe not so bad on similar tyres like all 4 mixed being asymetric rather that 2 asymetric and 2 directional. I am just trying to hold out until i get the new wheels, so i can get good matching tyres all round.
  18. whats that, a HKS branded footlong piece of pipe?
  19. meguires professional range glass cleaner or their Last Touch, that is once clayed of course, finally claying windows has caught on, i've been doing it for Ages. as for seal. i use whatever wax i use on the car at the time
  20. is it a slim line socket with a plastic sleeve to stop marking your bolt pockets? there the best for the job
  21. i was gunna say, by the time it got to your door. $1300 would have turned into $1600 or more for postage for the US and the import tax on such a pricey item.
  22. as i said earlier, dont mix your tyres, if your going Falkens on the front you need Falkens on the rear. if you only want to buy 2 tyres, buy the same brand and design as what you already have on your rears. Just take a read of this. viewtopic.php?f=60&t=38022
  23. they will fit your car if thats the size you require, 225/45/18 same as the other 2 you put links too, so course they'd fit.
