  1. to be fair, if you know what your doing and have good skill DIY can be done. But on a large flat panel like the 350z rear quarter, its a tough job! I did my scooby rear arch couple of years ago, as i was selling it and the arch was rusted, i got it all clean, meshed, fibreglassed, fillered smooth. then i blended in the paintwork stepping it into the OE paint. Machined it back afterwards, and considering where i did it (front garden) it came out bloddy well. but that was just a thin rear arch, and a M reg impreza..
  2. anyone got any pics of a 350z in Gun metal with Dotz GTR's? Also do all GTR's have a polished lip?
  3. what is the max and min the coilovers lower?
  4. I agree with AlexZ Even with the correct paint, the colour would be out. but not only that, the painting skills look a tad weak. did you even blend the colour into the original paint? looks like you would just have a harsh straight edge to me. The 350z is not a cheap car, i expect this sort of repair on a ford escort not a 350z. Just get it to a bodyshop and fixed properly. otherwise you'd lose out later on when you sell the car as no one will want to buy a bodged 350z
  5. i used that button once the other week. by mistake, covered the clean car in water as much as i never would use the washer jets i dont want to start chopping functions off of the car. i wanted to just add a couple of mods to this car and be done, i have done the mentally modded show car thing already. oh well no washer jets for me for now lol.
  6. so is there a washer bottle on each side for the headlight washers? reason i ask is i have this kit and its sat outside half fitted as i wanted to do some extra research before losing the washer function if i remove the right one, will the washers still work?
  7. lol. the uploading took ages! especially with the pics being such hi res.
  8. do you still have the washer bottle on your car, from where the air filter now is?
  9. i looked on your site and saw they were out of stock. Mine is a 53 (2004) UK

    Hi Flow Cats

Anyone got any for sale, or soon have for sale? Ideally Berk but may consider others.
  11. depends what you want? and the budget? do you want show, speed, noise?
  12. talking of FI, does anyone on this forum have a turbo 350z? ive seen some supercharged ones but no single or twin turbo ones? as for N/A tune, there isnt masses to be had with N/A, usual remap, exhaust, filter, inlet plenum spacer or upgrade. may see you to the 300 mark but the 06 engine has near to 300 standard, so that may be a better (yet more expensive) starting block. Then obviously the 07+ HR engine, but they apparently never reach there oem bhp rating on dyno's. So id be tempted to start with the 06 if you have the cash
  13. Injen un-dibbed, got a new AEM one yesterday for a bargain price.
  14. i just got a renewal tax thing in the post today, mines a 53 (2004) and 12 months is £245 or 6 months is £134.75
  15. its a coupe, so the glass can be pulled away from the car slightly (being a frameless window) then you can fish for the keys, window switch or lock button. I had to do this on my Impreza couple of years back, i managed to lock 1 key in the car and the other in the boot! Also recently locked the misses TT key in her boot, had to get the RAC to sort that one out, he went under the car, 12v'd a wire on some loom and it dropped the window. Good thing the misses in thin, as she had to climb through a Audi TT window lol. Needless to say i am a doughnut when it comes to keys and cars lol

i dont get how japspeed can be good quality for the price, its only a bit of bent ally. what further quality do Injen, K&N, AEM etc have that justifys the extra £100's
  17. Dibs on Injen Cold Air Kit PM was sent the other day
  18. i too notice mega varied pricing. I proberly paid over the odds (hope not too much) £9000 for UK 53 Plate (2004) in Gun Metal GT Spec with every option i can think of, sat nav, leather, rays, bluetooth, bose, cruise control etc etc But mine had 57000 on the clock, ray could do with a refurb and bumper has the usual stone chips. That a good price?
  19. i would have offered to detail it for you for hardly anything compared to that ludacris £1500 detail! thats stupid money! mugged off comes to mind. but im down in the South East, so couldnt do it im afraid
  20. less efficient yes. but they sound so coooool lol
  21. Been doing some reading up on a induction kit for my 2004 350z, I wanted to steer away from the Popcharger, to be a tad different, and all the dyno results with them on seem to be lower than other brands. Well im sure none give any gain tbh. i just want to not lose if possible. Im a realist, i know a induction kit suffers heat soak etc and in no way going to give you extra horsepower. Anyway, i tried searching AEM Short Ram but not having much luck, as typing short brings up tons of random threads lol. I do remember reading somewhere that they dont fit UK models? Is that the Short ram, like this one? Or is there a long RAM that is the one that doesnt fit? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/AEM-SHORT-RAM-IND ... 03fd7d1ec9 Sorry to ask as i know this sorta stuff has been asked a thousand and one times on here, but like i said, search button is a pain at times. And struggling to find the info i need. Thanks Terry
  22. nice what colours your 350z? Definatly get some pictures up when you bet them on.
