I have the most boring car history ever. K REG 1.2 Nova (most fun car ive had) K REG 1.3 Escort Mark 5 (CVH - worst engine ever made!) N REG 1.6 Escort Si Mark 6 (was 2.0 with Jenvey Throttle Bodies at the end, still got the shell) R REG1.2 Corsa (all 40bhp of it, even less now! Still running it into the ground) M REG 2.0 Subaru Impreza, (Bought it cheap, fixed it up on a budget. Sold for profit) 53 REG 3.5 350z GT, UK Spec (Although 53 REG aint new nowdays, as you can see its new to me )

see, i want high flow cats, but my exhaust is already rather loud so not sure whether i should do it or not. What do you guys reckon, currently a Pro Spec III Cat back (inc Y pipe) you reckon it will still sound good with some berk hi flo cats? (ps sorry to hi jack)

3 categories for cars, everything fits into 1 off these pretty much - performance - looks - comfort It doesnt come down to running costs in this possible swap. You need to decide which boxes you want to tick. a bit like stats on a car in a computer game. Evo. - Performance - 7 - Looks - 3 - Comfort - 1 (due to steering wheel, boost controller and uncomfortable seats) 350z. - Performance - 5 - Looks - 7 - Comfort - 8 (due to leather, gadgets galore etc) All boils down to what you want out of a car. 350z is a good all rounder and the evo is soley made for performance.

someone obviously had alot of miles to drive, so they drove it alot of miles... Who's to say they didnt go on a road trip around europe in it and racked up tons of miles in nice hot sunny spainish weather If you own a car, you can take it out the area you bought it from. its not against the law.

Im looking at a set of wheels for the zed. (uk GT with Brembo's) Im looking at 19x9.5 front and 19x10 rears. I currently have my boss trying to call in a favour or 2 where i work (wheel shop) for getting a set of Gram Light 57s Pro's shipped over from his American contacts. Question is, i want the aggressive stance, being lowered on coilovers, looking into bit of added camber, rolled arches etc but only sites i can find with them fitted are american sites, so none of the useful infomation relates to a zed with brembo's? Does anyone know where i may find some good info for this. I need to know what widths and offsets are tried and tested with brembos, as i dont want to settle for a really safe offset option but have no dish. I'm want the spokes right up against the calipers to allow the biggest dish possible on the front and the rear. Any help much appreciated.

where you based? and how much you after if i p/x with my standard rear lights?

without sounding like a plenum what is the benefit of the spacer? is it correcting a 350z fault or altering something thats too restrictive, is it just to allow more air the the plenum at one time? and how does that help HP

Anyone own any of these? I see them pretty regularly. 1. Red 350z (04 or 54 plate) driving from Leverstock Green towards Hemel Hempstead every morning at about 7:45am 2. Gunmetal 350z (Think 05 plate) with black alloys in the Ovaltine Building Car Park (in Kings Langley) 3. Sunset Orange 350z always parked outside the Murco Petrol Station on Station Road (Kings Langley)

properly slower due to it being further away from the switch, thus longer cable for signal to run through. Maybe if you had a spare 3m of cable in the driver door floating around from switch to drivers mirror to equal it out they may go at the same time. highly unlikely though. have you noticed the windows are tad different speed as well? suprise suprise, the passenger one is slower. Im known as the guy with OCD (as you demolition49 should know from my detailing) but the mirrors dont even annoy me! its not like they fold in every 30 seconds or anything. the window on the other hand does annoy me.

fair enough. nothing other than wd40 or shocking it, try tightening it a tad to crack it loose, then try removing it. cant think of anything else. battery guns are a god send if you have access to one

do you not have new nuts and bolts with your exhaust? if you do just go at it and if they break they break, who cares you got them off then just wd40 them, go at it, they will either loosen or snap, ideally you want to replace with new ones anyway.

i gave up trying to slide the rubber off, just unbolt the bracket the rubber mount is attched to. take it off the car, wiggle the rubber mount off, and re bolt the bracket too the car sooooooo much easier!

£350 for the coilovers. best i can do if you want a quick sale.

Just trying to mint up the 350z, gear stick is a little worn on the top. anyone got a mint one laying about?
