  1. had my one of these for year and a half now, also got mine from costco. Still going strong
  2. full machine polish followed by Lime Prime and 2 layers of Supernatural. By far the best combo for 'reasonable' money. Mine too is a GM and all I ever get are comments and jokes about how clean mine is.
  3. I would go with 452's, for me it is because I have my 350z lowered rather a lot with silly amounts of inside tyre wear, and for me being a evening tyre fitter/distributor for a company called Alloy Wheels Direct fitting all sorts of expensive wheels I have the luxury of swapping my tyres around whenever. So if i get 452's when 1 edge gets slightly worn i swap them side to side meaning 2 lots of life on the inner edge as there directional tyres, and 912's arent
  4. are the rear bumper and exhaust still floating about? if so how much you talking?
  5. im liking the pizza idea, just not for this country as theyd alway get wet
  6. Mileage now at just 60k, Price is: £9699 as it stands with the Buddy Club and Coilovers, £9499 as it stands but with Standard Suspension and BuddyClub Exhaust System
  7. bugger me, id hate that to happen, (ive gone and said it now, i shall drive carefully this evening now) I had never run anything over until few weeks ago, just lowered my 350z on its coilovers, driving home entering my village, 60mph road (was doing 50) had some prick in a chavalier (so old cant even spelt it lol) right behind me, was dark, rabbit ran out infront of my car, obviously couldnt swerve as id be in a ditch, and couldnt brake due to c**k head behind me trying to touch my rear bumper. so i ran it over straight under the wheel, flattened it there and then, will never forget that crunch noise. Anyway, hope the dog makes it through okay, tbh not that fussed about the car, its only a car after all. that can be fixed.
  8. what is the reason people re set them? is it not to do with the ecu re teaching itself but teaching itself with your new mods so then the mods work better, as say the ecu may notice more air from a better filter so it adjusts AF mixture accordingly? So in my eyes the reason its 'quicker' to start with is mixtures are all wrong and running too rich? I used to disconnect the maf on my old escort which meant it had no air intake rate reading so it use to be much quicker as it ran richer than a rich mans bank account balance..
  9. its not that loud lol. I have had the buddy club for couple of months now, and i havent even bothered once to fit the bungs, infact im thinking of de-cating it too If your gunna do loud, do it properly
  10. cheers, i felt the same, hence i didnt leave work until it had stopped raining and dried up lol But its got a tad dirty now but comes straight off when rinsed as the paintwork is so smooth again. There is still 2 scratches id like to work at a bit more but i need to find my PDG before i do it, seemed to have misplaced it somewhere
  11. nope, i dont have any LPL at the mo, do you use it on black plastics then?
  12. So a while back I did a 1.5 day detail on my 350z. I never really did the paintwork to my standard, as i had to do it outside I find you can never get a decent lighting when being done outside. So now my workplace has moved to a bigger unit, i can use that for my cleaning. Inside lighting and cant get rained off Anyway, my 350z. Decided to give it a quick going over just to get the finish a bit better. So the usual: > Rinse > Snow (citrus) > Rinse > Wash (TBM) > Rinse > Dry > Clayed a couple of areas, didnt need to do the whole car as it was clayed fairly recently. > Machined with a Black 3m Pad and Menzerna Final Finish (PO106FA) light refining around most the car, and just concentrated on a few problem areas that were not 100% first time round such as the boot hatch and roof. > Lime Prime > 2 layers of supernatural (just about 2, needed to finish the pot off so i can send it off for refilling) > Wheels off, cleaned and 2 layers of rim wax > Wheel liners cleaned and dressed. Suspension cleaned, calipers cleaned etc etc > All leather cleaned and conditioned with Gliptone Products and Brush > And i even did the job i always forget, hovered the inside with help from... > Glass was Lime Primed (trust me it works!, removes all water marks and just cleans it perfectly!) Took about 6(ish) hours Sods law it started raining just as i finished, so i just went upstairs and went on the internet for a while until it stopped lol. (love being able to clean inside) Picture time ... Just a bunch of finished ones, didnt bother with between shots as it was hardly noticable and you have seen it once before.
  13. detailingworld will no doubt have someone close by to you.

  15. id have been happy with how the supra was before lol But that colour is gorgeous! I want it
  16. Thought id send it back to the top. Need to sell and would like to see it stay within the forum if possible.
  17. Where do you work that has a cycle to work scheme? Whats the benefits, few pence per mile? Also does your place offer loans to buy a bike

    Blingaling

you need to get the silver mesh off now, black bumper grille would match the wheels better anyway they look tons better than i thought they would
  20. never know, may have something pretty beefy in there, see alot with the obvious C20XE or even better the C20LET engines, 2.0 turbo match box! Even seen a handful with the vauxhall V6 engine out the vectra's, although crap at handling due to nose heavyness, they dont half shift in a straight line.
  21. The sad day has come. Time to sell the 350z. Basically i broke my escort show car, to do the sensible thing and for once in my life save. I for some reason ended up buying a 350z... and since buying it i have had that niggle saying i need to save. So im putting it up for sale to see if anyone is interested. But i am mega gutted about this as i love the car! The car: Car - 53 REG (2004) Nissan 350z GT Colour - Gun Metal Interior - Tan Leather This car has all the optional extras ticked. - Brembo's - Rays Alloys (could do with a refurb really, bit of curbing and bubbling of the paint) - OEM Parking Sensors - Cruise Control - OEM Bluetooth (which connects to Iphone by the way) - OEM Bose Stereo System, which doesnt skip! - Air Con - Birdview Sat Nav with Remote Control, (still has the sticky pad on the pad of the holder thats never been used!) - Electric Mirrors - Tan Leather Seats (little bit of wearing on driver seat bolster, but not much) - Heated Seats - Electric Seats - Folding Mirrors - 2 Keys, FSH, All documentation, mot's, service sheets. - I am only the 3rd owner, previous 2 had the car 3 years each. Parts i've added on in the short period. - Buddy Club Pro Spec III Exhaust System with Y Pipe ( 3000 miles old max!) - BC Sport Coilovers (can be swapped back to standard suspension if prefered) This car has been very well maintained with FSH and only just over the 62000 mile mark. I have spent alot of money getting this car mint: - I have had a dent guy out to remove a few small parking dents. - I had a new windscreen fitted (as i didnt want the chips just filled) - Recent P2 service (200 miles ago) - Road Tax until End of July - MOT was done Saturday so a full 12 months MOT Also being i used to do detailing as a part time job, I gave this car a good seeing to. So its pretty clean inside and out! 95% swirl free with a high shine finish. Great reflections off the paintwork! I will give the car a cleanse and Supernatural Wax top up before selling if you like. Being a 7 year old car, the front bumper does have the usual splattering of stone chips and couple on the bonnet, but even i'm not overly fussed about that. Also just to keep honest, a tiny bit of paint flaked a tad on the front bumper on the middle bottom bit, not a lot about an inch long and not very wide at all. Anyway as stated above reason for selling is to re coupe money as i need to save (especially as I have had a tough few months with splitting up with my long term girl friend and moving out etc) Really going to miss this car. Ive wanted one for so long, just to have to sell it This car has everything you'd want to do to a new purchased car so you can have tons of hassle free motoring. No need for a service for a year, no need to fork out tax for a while or get an MOT for a whole year. So time for the pictures: All fairly recent as to show exactly what your buying. Nothing has changed since these pictures. Located in Flitwick - 5 minutes from either J12 of the M1 Price options: £9,400 with BC Coil Over Suspension and BuddyClub Exhaust System. £9,150 with Standard Suspension and Buddy Club Exhaust System. £9,000 with BC Coil Over Suspension and Standard Exhaust System £8,750 with Standard Suspension and Standard Exhaust System
  22. that looks gorgeous. love the colour and choice of mods, lower it is my only comment, that and the rear end just reminds me of a mark one tt lol
  23. Looks like an awesome colour. Dread to think what this second build is going to cost. (obviously not as much as a R35 )
