    Alzean Gear Knob

in the same boat, mine is a tad worn on the top (still fine) but was thinking about a KTA one, not sure how well it would go, then again you do have brushed parts on the wheel and doors.
  2. About to bung on some 20mm Spacers onto my 350z GT (Rays) but just dawned on me, how low can you go with this set up? Rears look like they can go on the floor and still not rub but the fronts i think will be a different story? Mine is pretty low on coilovers, and not really wanting to raise it up if I can help it. Any ideas? Thanks
  3. welcome. Hit the for sale section when you get back. Lots in there. I have mine in there too, not rushing to sell, in fact June would be perfect as my Insurance runs out then 53 (2004) Gunmetal GT with Alezan Leather, Optional Extra Sat Nav, Optional Extra Parking Sensors, Coil overs and BuddyClub Exhaust.
  4. These still going, tempted with the gear knob.
  5. Lime Prime to remove really bad water marks that just wont come off. Then i just use Meguires last touch with a dry microfibre. Does 100% job everytime
  6. Cheers Was a tad worried they would be a random degree pitch lol. hopefully the nuts arrive today and i can get fitting
  7. I bought some spacers last week, that had no nuts with them, and I saw someone say they use a different taper nut to make it only compatible with Eibach Nuts (which are expensive). So I guess you all think this and its 350z common knowledge? I work in a wheel shop so have ways about this. lol I thought id check to see if this was true. The test: 1 standard 60degree taper nut and a pencil. Rub the pencil all over the taper to allow excess lead to sit on the nut. Secondly insert into spacer, and twist. This will show you what contact you get in the spacer. If you get lots of lead all the way down the taper - happy days. If you get a thin line, taper is different. The Answer: This shows, Eibach spacers are just standard, so if you lose a nut, you do not need to stump out for overly priced Eibach own ones. I got mine trade from Bimecc. about 20p per nut compared to £4 per nut from Eibach Just thought id let you all know
  8. Just a quick random post about something I had to do over the weekend. My boss at work is currently extending his house left right and centre, and when he move's back in everything has to be brand new and perfect. Even the fecking house alarm cover. Exhibit A: New swirled house alarm cover, its not painted just black plastic. It sits up at the top of the house and will only ever be seen from afar. I then got asked to detail it, to get it looking mint. Okay so he didnt expect me to machine it, but sod doing this by hand, cutting through this plastic was hard work, lots of deep swirls and scratches. lol Method: 3m Black Pad Menzerna Fast Gloss Menzerna Intensive Polish Menzerna Final Finish (PO 106 FA) Quick Detailer to remove excess PB Black Hole (just because I was bored and never use Black Hole on anything else) The finished pic is pants though as I left to go drop it at the house, and actually forgot it, then realised I forgot to get a final ic, so grabbed one quickly. Wasn't in the correct light though Just thought id post for the sheer randomness of it.

    Two new tyres?

change it. Regardless of how small, you have torn the thread (structural element) of the tyre. That is now no longer safe.
  10. With my 350z being as low as it is, the fronts are scrubbing the inners out quickly and the rears are just nearing wearing out (rather evenly) But as i don't want to spank tons on new tyres just to scrub the inners out and have new tyre still on the outer edge, I thought id see if anyone has any part worn's about? Matching pairs, if not a matching set? (most proberly too much to ask) Located in Flitwick but can collect if localish or post to me? So what you guys got lying around in those sheds of yours? Thanks Terry
  11. no need for that, just make an exhaust that use's 6 pipes to the rear, one for each cylinder straight off the head
  12. ah renewable energy talk, I work for a renewable energy company that do biomass, solar (large scale solar farms), tidal but 95% onshore and offshore wind farms, we reached 5GW of total power last year. Anyway, as for 30p fuel. hydrogen will proberly be more expensive to produce than petrol, so if anything it will be more expensive than petrol as the government will not reduce there tax on fuels regardless of how green it is. These companies are not trying to make these fuels to be cheaper for us. Its so that in 50 years time we can still be driving around in cars. Just gotta get use to the fact fuel is expensive, in 10 years time we will look back and go "i wish fuel was as cheap as it was back then"
  13. As we know the 350z has a 6 disk cd changer. So I was curious to know what cd's are in your CD changer right now? No hiding those guilty pleasures either and no saying I don't listen to anything other than the engine Mine currently has Tinie Tempah, Dire Straits, Run DMC, Sum 41, some random garage dubstep type cd, and AC/DC As you can see i like every type of music. So what you got playing in yours right now?
  14. once there off the wheel id imagine it should be fairly easy to do, its getting them off the wheel thats the awkward bit? Anyone able to explain how to remove them? Is it the 2 screws on the back and that's it?
  15. welcome, as above where you based. Mine is for sale if you local? Have a look in the for sale section some fine zeds in there.
  16. take it your is a 2006 upwards the thats why i would rather have a slightly older one, tax is cheaper. £245 a year last year
