  1. It's definitely because of the colour. Azure blue - when clean - is very striking. A little too striking for me, as I'm a reserved kind of chap and opted instead for the dulcet tones of Gunmetal Grey, which, although not quite as in-your-face, still gets heads turning.

Believe it or not, I actually prefer Azure blue, but went for GM instead because I live in a 'dodgy' area and didn't want to attract too much attention. Strange logic, which will be all the more ironic if some fu**er vandalises my Zed.

Oh Cesc, you're putting Crawley down yourself now mate. It's not that bad is it?

With regards to attention: I never used to get any but now I have a pop charger it seems get more attention. Only mod but it really does make a difference. I think my sister wants one now. "why is my one quieter?"

    I shouldn't have told her

  2. That's a Pre Face lift 2005 model registered in 2006, could be higher tax rate if registered after mid March 2006  . If I was going to pay the extra tax then I'd go for a facelift model.

 Forget that, it is a facelift model (need eye test) and looks pretty good to me.

Haha okay cool. Looking forward to this now. Annoyed she's getting 20bhp more than me. The only car she's ever owned is a 1.0L corsa

    STEEP learning curve methinks :lol::lol::lol:

  3. I think I've mentioned a few times now that my sister is looking at getting a 350z. Well, we are going to Solihull tomorrow to look at this one. Anyone know of any reason not to? I'm not suspicious in the slightest, just thought I'd ask. Anyway, it seems very very reasonable considering age and mileage etc. What do you reckon? or  ?

    Anyone seen/know this car?

    Cheers,

  4. HItting an artic lorry in a honda civic, caused £100k worth of damage, my ex girlfriend lost half her left leg, i had 197 stitches in my head as i scalped myself on the sunroof.

When We were cut out of the wreck, the copper that was at the scene, later told me that all he could see was a huge white patch on my head, that happened to be my skull :scare:

So all in all, that was a bad day.....

But true non the less, even made tv as the crash happened right outside Meridian Studio's in Southampton.

F**k that's awful, okay my day was better than yours

  5. 1.)Driving a pink corsa 1.0 club for the first 2 years of my driving life

2.)Crashing in to an old woman's parked car and stoving her boot in, which was full of presents for her grandkids, who she was going to drive down and see for christmas. She was going to be driving from Horsham to Cornwall to stay there for christmas but couldn't get there because I broke both her car, and her relatives' presents. Myself and my dad ended up driving her and her aunty :scare: (must have been over 100) to Dorchester and then coming home. It took 6 hours. Oh, how it hurts to be a good samaritan. A very bad day.

    That's about it really.

  6. :cloud9:

Very nice indeed, as long as they don't make the headlamp THAT bulbous (looking at driver's side headlamp in picture). It makes it look a little like a peugeot 207 cc, which ain't good. Flat, non-bulged headlamps would make it look nicer I think. But still, awesome lines, a nice evolution for the Zed.

  7. Just finished my apprenticeship with a large pharmaceutical company, they paid for my degree and I studied part time for a BSc hons in Applied Biological Sciences. I do enjoy my job but it isn't particularly well paid considering the hours and dedication required. Pharmaceuticals as an industry seems to be falling apart at the moment (Pfizer closed a site in Kent yesterday making 2400 unemployed) and GSK did the same last year but the amount of redundancies was a lot higher than this. So, I enjoy my job, being a scientist is like doing a massive puzzle, and I love the fact I have to think "outside the box". However, I feel I ought to change as well if I want to earn some proper money. Same boat as you mate :boat:

My future options: PhD, work my way up through my company, change job, retrain.

I am as confused as you are

However, I agree with most other people on here, DO NOT LEAVE UNTIL YOU HAVE FOUND SOMETHING ELSE TO DO!!!

    Didn't that would take long!!!!

    Mines a 2003 too :p

Oh okay then you probably both win, :surrender:

  9. You are brave staying with the Nankangs, especially in the current slightly white conditions. Get better shoes on, and flick the others on fleaby or something.

Yeah perhaps I will part with some cash but I'm a little skint at the moment. I have had some scary moments on those tyres :scare:

They seem like they have all the grip in the world and then they just throw you off. I've learnt that, at least in these conditions, it's a point -and-squirt machine. No sense in trying to put any power down whilst stearing, especially with these tyres as all hell will break loose.
