UK front bumper (washer jets) and steering wheel (traction control),
Therefore UK version. I agree though, weird front number plate.
-
I was going to have W111LYP but it's not there anymore.
Also, for some reason every time I search for one with a "Z" in it the search returnss no results. I swear I've seen a "z" in a reg before.

Managed to get this baby for £8300 (08/2010)
More info to come...
You lucky lucky lucky person. That is an absolutely awesome price for that car. Well done. I thought I'd stolen mine for £9700 , you must be chuffed

Oops, I didn't mean to be insensitive, I was poking fun at the online translator not wolfie. I'm sorry if that appeared misdirected but I don't think I should be told to put fruit up my pooper.
Lesson learnt

Whatever you do, make sure it is readable when you put it up on the projector/smart board or whatever it is. Therefore, make sure the contrast between the background and the writing is clear enough. There was a woman who came to my work after her Ph.D to apply for a position doing a postdoc and her slides had a lime green background with yellow text. Couln't read a thing. She didn't get the job.
I guess you can go too far making it stand out and end up shooting yourself in the foot
That's better

90% sure it's gunmetal. It would help if the picture had the doorhandle in it as well and then you could see the contrast and make a decision. Either way, I believe there are 2 shades of gunmetal aren't there?

This thread has made my day

I don't care who he is, he plays the part well
Indeed, oscar winning performances from the man in white
I like Top Gear. It might not be as 'oily' as some car programmes but the format works and it means you can watch it with your other half. And the sound and video editing is superb, even if they probably take a few artistic liberties now and then.
Hmmmm,
I like Top Gear but I don't like that stupid filter they put on every camera to make the sky seem darker (which Fifth Gear have also copied), and I hate the fake scripted banter.
I don't care who the stig is either, it's just a good character.
Hang on, it's the weekend, I'm going home!!!
-
Does it not? Oh dear. Thanks for trying though. I think it nearly works.
-
Cool ay? It looked orange to me but your brain puts a natural filter on it because the complementary colour for blue is orange. I assume it would be the same if the majority of the picture was red the blouse (girly) would look green. Don't you just love science?
I'm such a geek, it even shocks me sometimes :'(

Some people are such idiots. I hate people who deny anything being their fault. Proper numpty. Track him down and smack him

It's grey

I agree with you JetSet, driving around Tampa was a nightmare, especially during rush hour. I quickly learnt the "stay in lane 2" trick, in my lovely gold ford focus saloon (i.e. "stickoutlikesorethumbmobile")

smash him in the face
Hehe, you seem to always give the best advice, I will do that next time.
-
Okay maybe the smell was just from his crap gear changes and it was a coincidence he was resting his foot on the pedal. Anyway, he does need to shed a few pounds.
But still, it's the first time I've ever felt so protective about a car.
-
Right!
I have just come on here for a little moan (again).
I let my mate have a little go in my zed last night just up and down the dual carriageway and fair play to him he was pretty gentle with her. BUT!!
He drove the whole way with his foot resting on the clutch pedal!! not the dead pedal!!! I could smell it burning. I told him 3 or 4 times to use the dead pedal but he kept resting it there. What a numpty
Last time I'm letting him have a go!
No wonder he failed his HGV
Anyway, that's enough moaning for a second, I'm going to grab some lunch
-
I love it,
You made me laugh so hard in this here silent office, I think I will be expecting a telling off for procrastination soon,
Anyway, nice motor pal, I bet it shunts.
-
Was this at night? you could always use the buttons to the right of the speedo to dim your dash lights. I personally haven't noticed this as a problem but my eyes don't work too well as it is.
-
Really looking forwards to seeing your progress with your rebuild, that colour looks already
-
Are you two on xbox live? if so, add me if you want, my gamertag is Almightywilly (stupid name I know but I think it's funny)
-
Oh my god what did I miss? I was watching this and then fell asleep (hardly any sleep last night, too much alcohol and sleeping in a tent)
-
I just threw up in my mouth... thanks

It's a little odd if they also replaced the front bumper as well and it has traction control, I thought only UK models had these, in fact I'm almost certain ....
