Good choice.There's another choice?
To be fair, I am liking the work t1s's in BP also, but they're not volks
-
Only got the 3100 but I'm presuming a similar idea.
See rob's faq:
For mine I got the pre-06 double din fascia, the ict 20-260 and that was it, but then again I wasn't bothered about steering controls

Thanks, like the fat look tbh Mind if I pop over and nick your duraluminum nuts?
-
Just completely didn't realise the volk gts didn't come with locking lug nuts and was wondering whether anyone can recommend some options? (Probably end up getting some mcgards)
Cheers guys

255/285 is fineI'm running that & I get a bit of rubbing but mine is lowered
Cheers Ian
I just didn't like the stretched look on the M3 when I had stock sizes is all (strange that the stock sizes were stretched, but hey ho).

Indeed, I usually say I got two sets of Rays, lol, just one is more bling than the other.I got the same size wheels, and am running 245/35 up front and 275/35 on the rear, I don't think that there is that much stretch on the rear, fronts are square.
Hmm, I've gone with 255/35 285/35 for now. Ah well.
Especially for you I just went outside to take pics so you can see if you like them that size...
Front 245/35
Rear 275/35
Hope this helps
Hmm, tiny bit of stretch but not much, presumably you're lowered looking at the pics?
Problem is I've already arranged 255/285 with blackcircles

Sorry to be a newb, but hey that's what I am.What are they? Say Volks on but package Rays??
Educate me please, as I feel I want some too.
Bradders
Rays is the manufacturer, volks the brand. They're Volk GTS in titanium gunmetal

Just one thing guys, I'm planning on running 255/35 (19x9.5) at the front, 285/35 (19x10.5) at the rear, as I don't fancy a stretch at the rear, if I get lucky, maybe it won't even rub, however, if it does I'd rather roll the arches (at stock height currently). Sound ok to you guys?

Nice oneGood to see Sarah doing what she does best.
I know she prolly done a good price for you too (bought my Volks thru Sarah too)
She most certainly did. Tried co-ord, got no response from them, then tried sarah, awesome from the off
Not that I probably need to recommend her, but she's been awesome

When you expecting the other 3I do hope your not planning to put them on for at least another 4-5 months
Pah git Only got around to opening 2 boxes yet For all I know sarah has put a lump of lead in t'others J/K Sarah
I know about the weather, hence I'm gonna try some gtechnic c5 and otherwise try and keep on top of them

I wonder what this could be... hmmm....
A little look inside:
Oooooo looks promising:
Wahey!
Massive thanks to sarah (chillired) for providing these for me and for putting up with me the last few weeks
-
Those cars look diabolical.
+1 look like they have had rick waller driving them with michelle mcmanus in the passenger seat and a boot load of brick rubble. Rank.
Fantastic
So you won't be running camber like this then?
-
That is mental and very very nice. I found someone in america with a g35 who was running 12j's and -20 offset on stock body......how much negative camber must that be running!
I dont think that stance could cope with the roads over here.lol
It's a bit much for my taste. There's a point imho where stretch and camber gets stupid.
This is even a bit too far out back for me and a bit too much stretch, but it does look quite nice, now, if that was 9.5, 10.5 with sensible offsets:
-
If you want to push the stance to its limits, get 12"s -5 on the back 10"s -20 at the front
-
Sorry guys, I know steady's v2, which still looks awesome, but just wondering where you other guys have sourced your v2's with carbon lips from?
Please don't say sarah now that she's stopped importing the v2 shine replicas I don't think epracing do one with the carbon lip and I think another certain notorious place I should steer clear of.
-
in fact i want headlights so bright when you flash the other person the light is so intense that the on coming driver vapourises in their own seat.
Wonder whether these would be road legal:
-
if i ever get a Celica GT4 then i will set it up with a full rally style fog setup. and you'll know when i switch it on at night as entire villages will suddenly experiencve full daylight even in the middle of the night.
I was thinking like they have on some lorries. That's quite something when they flash you at night
Accompany with a fog horn and maybe they'd get the point?
Like this say:
-
Ooo maybe you could get some hellas like this and properly return the favour of them leaving fog lights on? Might not look as good on a z though.
Ghetto Air Duct Pipe Install

Well, the air duct pipe may not be pretty, but it certainly looks functional and the carbon inlet certainly looks good
