  1. The RX8 has a 1.3 litre engine Had an m3 at 23 and didn't crash it so does that make me nothing like the norm? However, putting a 20 year old with sod all experience into a gumpert apollo is a slightly different affair to a 350z/m3/similar. If they had experience though, I don't see how you can base it on age?
  2. Nah, those were the ones on the m3 drilled rotors. Not good on a track and weren't brilliant on road either. I think they're fine on slotted/flat discs, but I'd still rather have performance friction/dixcel/endless/ferodo.
  3. Don't like them Well, at least not on drilled rotors.
  4. Hah, well, my dixcels aren't noisy at least, may have been mixed reports on the ds2500's from what I've seen. Ah, yes, ages back zmanalex mentioned to me the z compound had been discontinued for a new compound. Think you're best off asking him how the z replacement pads compare.
  5. Ferodos from Though my dixcel z pads aren't bad either. Think I remember from a while ago the 01's were their track pads and performance friction also did z rated more street based pads? Sure alex knows either way.
  6. http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stor ... yId_165581 Edge is a little cheaper. Honestly, for £20 sake, I really wouldn't skimp on oil.
  7. I'm sure oilman (opieoils) would get a pm, in fact I think he's even posted up a guide. Opie are generally reasonably quick, but if you're pushed for time I'd go with castrol edge/mobil 1 from halfrauds.
  8. Not in a million years would I use semi-synth. In fact I'd probably use castrol edge from opieoils or silkolene.
  9. F me, £456 for a p3 at marshalls in cambs?!?! I guess I shouldn't be that surprised really.
  10. Rays and a softtop? Seen one of them around...
  11. They're great as an indy and I'll be using them to check my steering fluid tomorrow, not so specialist in Z's though, but you wouldn't expect them to be. Marshalls charged me £20 just to get it up on a ramp after being pretty damn rude and unhelpful on the phone. If yours needs a p3 I'd say abbey, i'm less bothered as my next service will be a P1 which is pretty much an oil change. Are you the one with the K1? Seen a blade silver around with the K1 in town once.
  12. Nothing I prefer to: http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/engine-an ... d_348.html Just noticed, they're out of stock Either way, if you're using ag glass polish and it's smearing you're either not letting it dry or using far too much and not a great microfibre.
  13. If you find a good main dealer let me know, counter to what some have said, I don't trust marshalls of cambridge at all. Good indies, well, barrys in cambridge are probably getting familiar with mine now but I don't think they know the Z I think your best bet for a service is further afield like abbey or japex. If you do go to marshalls in bury i'd be interested in what they're like Wonder whether docwra has any suggestions...
  14. So you get some bling wheels then add a wire rod to the wheel arches Ghetto
  15. Hubba hubba @ the blue skyline. What's with that thing sticking out of the wheel arch on the del sol in the 2nd pic?
  16. I think that could work
  17. I'm in two minds. I think I like it, though I'm not sure whether flat, gloss, or carbon wrap would look best.
  18. The handbrake is wayyyy too high. Apparently easy enough to adjust though, it's just a nut in the centre console.
  19. Ooooo I like your knob Excellent job on the headlights too
  20. I was more interested in his exhaust personally
  21. Still think your wheels would look better on an azure husky Nah, some excellent pictures of your zed
  22. Not easily. You really have to be firm when pushing them in and even use some oil, so my guess is when pushing them out you'll just have to be very firm indeed, maybe even cooling the caps since they're metal would help a bit? Sarah will confirm the fun I had trying to get the damn things in You did push it from the inside right?
  23. As a few others, lots on a memory stick, but this week: Angela Winbush Warren G Yin Yang Twins Lil' Jon Cameo The O 'Jays.
  24. Been rolled by them and nope. But as they'll point out also it depends on the condition of the paint around your arches http://www.archenemy.co.uk/?page_id=35#Nissan
